first off

i totally forgot how powerful the smell is and just the little stash is strong to be hard to mask the smell

what tips do you guys have to stash and smoke

i cant smoke this stuff in or around my apt complex.

how do you guys do it?

invest in a vaporizer, and buy a glass mason jar with a seal so its airtight

i put i in 2 zip lock bags then one giant zip lock bag dumped baking solda in there to muffle smell, good or bad idea?

buying a vaporizor first thing tomorow , i wanna take a few tugs and relax at home but thats not gonna happen

just get an airtight glass jar, its probably 2$ at walmart or somewhere like that

i personally, would accidentally drop some buds into the baking soda if they were in such close proximity

also it keeps ur nugs fresh and moist so its a win-win

lol not much you can do to cover up the smell of sour diesel; it's so fucking strong, it just permeates a whole building even if it's kept in a jar or a ton of bags, the bags or jar end up smelling like it permanently.

air tight glass jar may help but i personally have never found anything to tame that scent. Even with my volcano, the smell is tremendous and usually the volcano has little to no smell with most strains. I don't know why but it seems everyone in my area sells/smokes this super skunky shit, i can always smell it from like a mile away. Even if it's not sour diesel, it's some other insanely potent scent, why don't growers stick to the more fruity smelling strains? those are the best. I get tired of smelling skunk wherever i go.

thats not good abiut the vapor!

im going to head shop tomorow to see what they say about the smell

i really can enjoy the weed at this rate!

Limonene is the terpene responsible for the smell and taste we all love with sour crosses.
As for stashing it (really?) it doesn't smell that much. Use a mason jar or a vac bag if your really worried. But, turkey bags are whats used in the emerald triangle when buying packs so, if that works for growers it can work for you. If it is in a sealed jar it won't smell. I have jars upon jars of homegrown and they hold smell well.

There absolutely is a way to mask the smell. Jars do it. But, if all else fails a single vacuum bag takes care of every last bit of smell. How do you think it gets spread from the west to around the country.

Being a farmer, smell control is a major factor in the past. Before, I owned my mountain compound I was in neighborhoods and clearly smell control was number one. curing jars (mason) hold smell great in the large ones. I wouldn't put 10 lbs in it and drive it around but, for a house it won't smell it up. If it happens to leak through, use a turkey bag. A single turkey bag is what lb's are sold in. They hold the smell great as it becomes basically scentless on the outside of the bag when applying your nose. Adding a second turkey bag will take it away completely. vac seal it is the last resort for a stinky harvest. No smell passes a tight packed seal.
