There seem to only be two trip reports on erowid about this combo and neither are very good sources of info for me because the doses are far higher than I would ever take. I've had 2C-E by itself and found it rather "cold" and inhibiting so I'm just wondering if anyone has experiences combining it with MDMA and whether it's worthwhile for someone who really would not otherwise care to take 2C-E on its own again.

I agree completely. i'm regretful that I didn't stock up on 2c-e when it was available in stores around here. I never really got to a solid plus 3 with the stuff but it seemed very promising even though it was very neutral emotionally. MDMA would add some good euphoria to the substance but would need to be timed pretty well.
I would try to match peaks, then redose the MDMA at half the original dose maybe. once the peak hits smoke a ton of pot until you're ready to come down completely.
this is one I would do on my own or with 2 or 3 others. I see potential for some serious opening up and thought provoking ideas. 2c-e alone is a by yourself psych but the MDMA can make it special for a small group of friends.
I've done this combination a few times (4-6 times), always at the club here in my city. A dark and tight basement that usually plays techno music. There were half dose of 2ce each time (i don't remembert the exact dosage now, check erowid dosage for an average) and 0.1 - 0.3 grams of mdma. Effects of candy flipping where really present all the time, a lot of confusion of space and time, heavy visuals, not panic nor paranoia or anything else despite the dark ambience. Very energetic trip though and enjoyfull. I'm not a high-dose man, i usually take half a blotter tab and im trip very deep but manageable (for a blotter with and average 100ug). Think you should try and speak for yourself. Have a nice trip!
ive always found 2ce to be visual and euphoric enough on its own... with a tradeoff in the mindfuck department. in that, it was never a candidate for clubbing and such. while i think a combo with mdma would definetly be awesome for music, i would think this also increases the confusion of everything by quite a bit.... i dont think it would be for everyone.

Very stoning from what I remember. I believe my dose was 18mg 2ce with an additional 3-5mg snorted. 3-4 hours later 110mg MDMA. Once the MDMA kicked in I cared to do nothing but sit in a relaxed state. Movement didn't interest me in the least. I was very slow, yet had a very casual attitude. Setting was a major music festival. I missed some of the acts I wanted to so see, just because it seemed unimportant at the time.
Maybe this combo would be better to do at home with a loved one. A nice relaxed environment where you can talk and lay around. I feel like the 2ce worked well with the MDMA, making the MD more mellow. MDMA makes me want to lay down, but sends communication on hyperdrive, where I want to get everything out. 2ce made this effect seem more relaxed.
The body buzz was pretty nice.
I doubt that I'd do it again. It mostly just gives you a hazy, lazy fucked up feeling, and ended up feeling more like an opiate than a psychedelic. Doesn't seem like it would be particularly rewarding compared as compared to a dose of mescaline, or cacti, or even 2c-t-7 say.

I think I'll play it safe and see how a lower dose of the 2c-e plays with my typical MDMA dose. Too much Real Life™ up in my face lately but I'll do a trip report when I get around to this combo %)

Don't have anything really to add other than tonight I'll be embarking on my first 2c-e journey.. excited and slightly nervous, as always.

I have done this combo multiple times and have to say of all the 2cx+mdma combos, this one is the most magical.
Ive combined 2cb, 2ci and 2ce each sith mdma at carrying doses and each experience was incredible, but 2ce and mdma have an odd, indescribable magic to them.
My best experience with the combo was my modt recent one in whoch i worked my doses up (i wouldnt start with this; it was kinda intense but in a great way)
I started the day rolling with my gf from about 4 to 945pm when she had to go home (my doses was 225mg oral)
Then when i got home around 10 from dropping her off i decided i wanted to sparkleflip so i weighed out a 150mg mdma capsule and a 20mg 2ce capsule as well as a 7mg 2ce dose to snort later on and a 50ng dose of mdma to mix woth the 2ce lines and rail when that time came. I pop the 2ce oral and wait an hour before taking the mdma oral dose. After i take that and wait 30min i start to really feel both kicking in and i decide its time to rail my nasal doses. 57mg total material split into 2 lines and snorted up each nostril (extreme pain now present for amyone who doesnt know; snorting PEAs is really painful but imo worth it! After the pain subsides i could focus on my viuals and HOLY HELL!!! These were the most morphing incredible visuals id ever seen. Not colorful like acids visuals but so lucid and moving. 2ce can often be weord and freaky but combinging with mdma is almost a sure way to make sure that the happy, warm fuzzyness of mdma takes away the freaky side of 2ce and the experience is amazing. I highly reccomend it. It is equal with candyflipping in my mind but each is very different. I wouldnt nescesarily start with the doses or ROAs that i did, but i do HIGHLY reccomend that you try this combo.
If i had to give a reccomending starting dose, i would say take 15-18mg of 2ce orally and wait an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes and then take about 130-200mg (depending on your sensitivity/past use with mdma) of mdma orally.
Within 40 minute of that second dose yould be in sparkleflip heaven
