Does anybody know how to combat the really "sleepy" feeling at higher dosage with oxy. it really takes the fun away when you just keep feeling sleepy for 60% of the peak.

Also, the next morning have a slight hangover headache? is that from lack of water or what is that usally?

and theoretically speaking what are best doses that you people have personally experienced with in the past that you found was the best with minimum side effects (oxy) also consider a high tolerance.. in the 150 mg range?

any tips/advice would be appreciated especially for the sleepy feeling!

If you are "nodding out" (that's the term most people use to describe the euphoric sleepy feeling) and feeling a hangover the next day then you should lower your dose. It's not something that drinking more water will fix, although you should stay hydrated when taking any drugs other than those that specifically state on the prescription pamphlet that you should not take with water (certain medications say this, but oxycodone is not one of them).

As for the dosage, I'm not quite sure that I know what you mean. What do I consider a high tolerance? Definitely anything over 90mg, since it took me over a year of abusing hydrocodone and oxycodone to get to the point of taking an 80mg OxyContin. That might not seem like that high of a dose for bluelighters, but for most recreation users it's a high dose that take a while to work their way up to.

A beginners dose is around 10-15mg which usually gets to 20mg pretty quickly if they use it regularly, so I would say that 40mg is a good dose to take with minimum side effects once you establish a bit of a tolerance.

i can inject 450mg of oxycodone and not have a hangover in the morning but i don't sleep very well that night

I think that it's important to mention that you have a very high tolerance, one that would result in death for most people that would try to match that dose especially if they use the IV ROA like yourself. The OP seems to be relatively new to this drug so lets not give them a false sense of security of this drug by giving them the idea that IVing 450mg is normal, which might make them think it's alright for them to increase their dose without experiencing more side effects.

LOL! no way if I ever got up to taking even 200mg I would stop.... it wouldn't be worth it at that point. Perhaps next time on a rainy day if my doctor prescribes me more oxy I should take it with some benadrly to atleast stop the itchies!

might want to reassess whether this is something to really brag about....

that's like a 300+ dollar shot depending on how much you get ripped off for

Hmm..you don't think the Benadryl would add to the sleepiness you were just asking how to avoid?

I was just going to point that out. Benadryl will add to the sedation so if you are trying to avoid feeling sleepy then you don't want to be taking benadryl with the oxycodone.
