I hate that the article doesn't say if it was some dangerous chemical or just blank paper.


Police: Man Tried to Sell Fake LSD to Cops in Syosset

Craigslist ad for LSD prompts undercover arrest.


A Levittown man was arrested Thursday afternoon after attempting to sell fake LSD to an undercover Nassau County detective in Syosset.

According to detectives, 24-year-old Adam Friedman placed an ad on Craigslist advertising LSD for sale.
The ad prompted a response from an undercover detective. Police said that after communicating with Friedman via email, detectives made arrangements to meet him to buy 10 LSD strips.



Detectives met with Friedman on Greenfield Road and Locust Lane in Syosset where Friedman was placed under arrest. He was found to be in possession of 10 pieces of imitation LSD.

Friedman is being charged with imitation controlled substance - manufacture/sell. He was released on a desk appearance ticket returnable to First District Court on July 5.

During the PMMA epidemic the police in my town published the picture of someone caught selling it to warn people. If this guy is selling Nbomes it's pretty irresponsible of the police not to warn people. I think they might be so ignorant that they have no idea people can die if they eat a 10 strip of nbome. Your typical narc actually doesn't know jack shit about drugs. Every street drug is cut in their little world.
Or it could just be paper.
 
If it was fake acid as in just a bit of paper how can he have broken the law?
There's no drug in the 1st place in his possession so what's his crime? Possession of paper with intent to commit fraud?

America has some of the most bizarre laws on earth, each day I get more shocked at the system over there.
 
Its illegal to sell someone fake drugs. If you sold someone catnip as weed you would be charged the same as if it was weed. Its not the worst law, fake drugs do result in people getting stabbed and shot all the time.
 
Yeah pretty sure that's law here too, you can be charged for selling fake pills speed or coke or weed etc. Not sure what the exact charge would be but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to do. Most times it's never found out about, unless sold to a cop of course.

Well you can't blame someone wanting revenge for being ripped off.
The more I am alive, the more I feel an outsider, it just seems mad to me you can be charged with dealing even if it's fake.

Say for example you went & sold someone a kilo of baking soda which they assumed was coke & you got caught in a set up, would they charge you by weight or is selling fake drugs in some different category?
I am curious if you could get 14 years in jail for ripping someone off.

^yup.

i wonder if this guy that got busted is the same one from, well i wont name the site, but pushes TONS of nbomes. he sells them as not intended for human research and all that so no fake lsd or anything. but he sent me 4 of them, took one and it was pretty fun for someone that doesnt like to trip.
 
That's what you get for trying to sell fake drugs, dick.

...Okay, maybe he doesn't need to be arrested, but fuck that dude. Better to be arrested, then beat to death over some fake drugs, aye?
