So I've got a bunch of these random itchy bumps that appear in small patches, not too close togeher but a few in one area then another on my upper body and they are itchy as crap...

ive had them before and they just go away... they look just like bug bites and feel like them but as far as I know I havn't been around any bugs..

They're in your bed, feasting on your flesh as you sleep. After all, at any given time, there are hundreds/thousands/millions of bugs and other tiny mite-like creatures around you right now.

Sweet dreams. :)

ROFLZZZ

^ actually could be true)
I had an issue a while back, where I think my laundry detergent had some kind of dye or something, can't remember, and it went away when I did some research and changed brands.

Skin conditions are really hard to diagnose even if the written description is good.

Only thing I can say for sure is that if the bumps are near the armpits, groin, or are on the hands, then there is a higher chance they are bed bug bites. If they are anywhere else then it's anyone's guess and you should go to the doctor.

LOL

OP, they could be insect bites or it could be an allergy, or skin condition like dermatitis or even something like a reaction to pollen or something you're allergic to. Go to a medical professional and have it checked out.

I had a case of "dust mites" last year. They are attracted to some peoples phermones and others persons not so much. I had them in my hairy areas. I had to get a big bag of Diatomaceous Earth for $8 from Home Depot, and apply it to my body and all my clothing, mattress, furniture and shoes atc. All over my floor too. Get a bed bug mattress cover, so you can save your mattress, otherwise you are taking your chances with maybe having the dust mites around for a longer period of time and having to apply more applications of the Diatomaceous Earth powder. Instant relief from the itchyness. The mites are invisible, bed bugs are NOT. So, I'll bet you have dust mites.

heres a link to home depots product. Its a 4lb bag for $8 vs. some huckster selling 8oz. for the same price:

heres a bag of mine:

Read the reviews from the home depot link if you need any more info.

Its kinda funny, when you apply the d earth into your head hair and other parts of the body, you can within, 20 seconds or so feel the powder start to kill off the bugs and the "moving" stops.

OP do you use stimulants? People I know who would abuse meth and cocaine would have effects like that from those drugs and lack of sleep.

Even if your bumps are bite related, it doesn't mean you have bedbugs necessarily. Scabies cannot be killed by diatomaceous earth so if you use it and the bugs are in your skin and not in your bed, you could be wasting your time.

I strongly recommend getting a doctor to diagnose you in person. Anything else is speculation.
