Na, it's just a shitty admin job man. Printing, photocopying, ignoring the phone etc. Easy as fuck. Mind numbingly boring & low paid though.

I think the "theme" is supposed to be rundown tatty shit.
 
Afternoon chaps, I need some technical advice.

Yesterday I opened my Firefox up and everything was magnified (websites, bookmarks etc) and I can't seem to change it permanently, I can only temporarily change the zoom on each website by CTRL +/-

sounds like you need to reinstall windows.
 
That moment when you're sat all depressed cos you're leaving and you check your bank to see if you can scrape up a quid for booze later and you've got £3000 from the SLC. Must have got the grant I applied for. Was proper moping because I wouldn't be able to afford to come back over summer but can chuck a bit toward car insurance and petrol now, bit for going out, and put the rest aside for bills and food and whatnot next year.

Thing is, I'm still mopey now the initial surprise has subsided, so think I'm actually going to miss this place just a wee bit, despite the horrors of most of my housemates. Think it's cos I lived here on my own for a few months before they moved in and good times were had.

Thanks <3 Yeah suppose it's expected really. Extra money will help cos I really didn't wanna leave girlthing for possibly 3+ months while we sort everything. And no they never go up for me usually, which is why I've checked twice ha. Ah well on with the packing. Waiting with Mum and her industrial hoover to sort out the rabbit-related mess. Yes it's still there. No the rabbit is not. She's with Mum. I'm just lazy and I guess been borderline depressed for the past few months so cleaning has not been done.

Ha! Parents are great for that aren't they? They think if you don't fumigate the property you will lose your deposit. =D

My poor father in law was dragged into making sure my wifes student gaff was spotless when she finished uni. Poor bloke never saw him look so miserable.

Tried but no luck :(

It looks like the whole of firefox has magnified not just the individual websites. Changing the magnification of the sites (CTRL+scroll/0/+-) only does it to the open tab and it reverts back to normal.

Didn't see anything happen with the scroll lock one.
 
maybe you turned on accessability settings in windows somehow. sounds fucked up anyway, mabye you should call tech support.

Haha aye, that's exactly her reasoning! The place was a hole when we moved in, and they've got no tenants for next year. I think they made a last ditch attempt by painting our front door, but somehow completely failed to notice the smashed and decaying front steps.

Anyways I'm away to meet my mate, as after the money revelation, I found that I have 'safely packed away' my wallet with all my cards in, so transferred him some to come draw out for me and then gonna buy him some beer to say thanks cos it's pissing it down here. Though I'm pretty sure I could have got him down to a Peperami.

I'm too lazy so will probably download chrome. Only reason I use firefox is because I like the square-ness and edges of the tabs lol.

Depends who they are , i have a very good relationship with one Yardie in particular . In general it can be a wind up but then again from what i can gather you seem to have wind ups no matter who the dealers are ;)
 
Just spent two hours looking through job vacancies in Edinburgh. Everything is shit. Looks like I'm going to get into wiping old folks arses for £6 an hour.
