Promethazine/Codeine Allergy Question

Hey, I have a morphine allergy and I'm wondering if taking promethazine/codeine cough syrup will cause me to have an allergic reaction? I figured it'd be better to ask those more knowledgable at this than myself than to try without asking and risk some good ol' anaphylactic shock. Thanks y'all.
 
Codeine is essentially Morphine. It's 3-Methylmorphine which is a morphine-pro drug. It's metabolised into morphine by your liver using an enzyme named CYP2D6. So yes I would steer well clear of doing that. There'd be no difference in you taking Morphine at an equipotent dose to Codeine.

nothing special and ur only gonna get one hit out of it. whip it's are cheaper and are easier to use if u have a cracker or dispenser. but since all u have is a canister if whip cream just hold it straight up where the nozzle is pointed towards the sky and simply put ur mouth over the nozzle and push the nozzle sideways like trying to dispense the cream and inhale for as long as you can and hold it for as long as you can... there ya go enjoy.

suggest u go buy some actual whip it's and a dispenser to get the full effect
