19, 120lbs, considering steroids.... (pic inside)

Soooo.... Don't really know where to start. I've been training MMA for 7 years, and have dreams of being in the UFC one day. However, being 120lbs, those dreams won't really become a reality unless I put on some serious size. I eat 5 times a day, lift weights, and do my mma training with some world class dudes, but the size just isn't coming on. My dad is 39, and about 128-135lbs, so genetically, I was designed to be a small dude.
I read the thread suggesting not to do steroids until 20 or 21, but I do have a question. Would half the dose of a cycle work well enough? My doctor said my bones and such are pretty much done growing. The half cycle was just an idea to try it out and be sure not to kill my body by adding too much mass.

Yeah man, don;t take roids. They suck. You have a small frame, roids aren't going to make that any bigger. It will add muscle mass. something you can do on your own , just take longer.

Roids will change your attitude and make you flip at situations you normally wouldn't.

Epiphyseal plates, would be the least of your problems.
I'd be worried about permanently knocking your Test/E ratios out of whack, and causing neural down-regulationary issues..

Looking at your pic, you don't know how to train for size, or eat... Drugs won't help you there..!!
 
Post up your diet for a week so we can look at it...and be honest with it.
 
Wouldn't doing steroids affect your mma career, do they allow roids cause I can't imagine they do, whether its amateur or professional, in my opinion if you're already regularly working out it probly won't increase your strength as much as u like, yeah you may get bigger and weigh more which would mean that you could be put in a weight class heavier than u should be. Do they have a weight class for guys ur weight? Cause I'd probably just stick w that, but I'm no Brock lesnar so pls correct me if I'm misinformed, otherwise I hope this helps, be happy w what u got brah
 
You are obviously not eating enough. I'd add 200 calories to my daily intake. You aren't gonna build decent size if you aren't in a surplus. You should also make sure you're getting enough protein.
 
Just quit eating like a little bird, doing steroids now is just being lazy.
 
You need to get your ass into gym and lift hard and heavy aswell and eat even harder... Steroids arent the answer for you, deffintly not anytime soon, you can put on some solid mass without it.

Crawl, walk, run... In that order ;)
 
What supplements are you taking? Because a body building forum might do you better than a drug one... unless you wanna toke to increase appetite or something, idk. Protein powders, creatine, all that jazz is worth a shot before steroids. Eating beef and other foods can up your testosterone level too, look into that.

Most Importantly, you are definitely still growing. You know how guys look totally diff during HS and after college? Yeah I understand it's hard to wait until you're 21, 22, but if you keep at it I promise you'll look different then.
 
All you need to do is lift heavy and eat more (LOT'S MORE) You have so much to gain naturally and you really don't want to risk messing up your natural test production and hormonal balance.. Trust me there is no way you are eating enough.
Write down a weekly log of your meals and be honest. Post it here and im sure we can help you

Eat more. That is your problem.

This, steroids or no steroids if you want to gain weight you need to eat more. The steroids just make more of the weight gained muscle and enable you to carry more muscle than your natural hormones allow. But at your height/weight you're nowhere near your natural limit.

To be fair, a lot of them are possible at high doses taken for a long time. Mainly thinking of the cardiovascular ones + liver problems with high dose orals for a long time. As far as I know cancer has only been linked to Anadrol (liver) and Turinabol (testicular), both after long periods of use.
 
ok yeah you guys are right on the eating thing. I don't really eat as much as i should. kinda lied in the OP on that, sorry. I often think theres better things to do with time than eat a big meal. So i kinda just snack a little and do noodles for lunch and maybe cereal for breakfast. we cook big for dinner. thats about the regular routine. Whats some cheap foods to put on size? dieting has never been really a focus for me i guess, id like to start eating more and i've been lifting alot more frequently, so that's a start.

I guess I was just looking for quick easy weight size. not necessarily to have the biggest muscles for my size, just fill myself out so i look atleast average and not really skinny ya know. Kinda hard to really take a person my size serious even though i know my mma skills are good, people often look at the size of a person and don't listen past that if you're small.

There you go dude, thankyourself for being honest, kudos. Get on the net, do some research on how to eat properly and you'll find that you have to eat a lot more than what you think...However try for yourself and watch how much you can gain with propper diet and training. And remember it is a slow proccess, I won't bullshit you on that and tell you it is fast. Bodybuilding is all about learning and putting things to practise, it isnt about juicing up and lifting a few weights ;)

You want to gain size?

Follow this routine, 3 times per week:

Squat - 1x20,1x15
Flat/Incline Bench - 2x8
Bent over row - 3x8
Overhead press - 2x8
Chin ups - 2x failure Or pull downs, until you can do chins
Stiff leg deadlift - 2x8
Barbell curls - 2x8

Start drinking milk, a gallon per day, along with your regular meals.

Eat protein every meal: Meat, chicken, fish, eggs.

Carbs: Bread, oats, pasta, potato, cereal.

Fats: Peanut butter, olive oil, avocados.

You're a stoner, don't you get the munchies?

You're ridiculously lean, you can put on alot of muscle without getting fat.
