Reaching out to my BL friends

awesome dude. Good for you man. Keep your chin up. I was afraid of a stroke my self until I had an MRI and nothing.

So I have an odd question. You attribute many issues of lack of desire to eat or painful digestion. I have neither and in fact compulsively eat. I just thought that is a weird thing to experience so much of what you describe yet have the opposite stomach reaction.

Either way, Im happy to hear you are feeling improvements.

Also, I want to suggest a few things if you have not looked each of them up already:

Ashwagandha -
Axon- or dendrite-predominant outgrowth induced by constituents from Ashwagandha
Dendrite extension by methanol extract of Ashwagandha

Lions Mane Mushroom - Stimulates Nerve Growth Factors (NGFs)

Macca Powder - Great for stimulating libido

Im working with my nutritionst on a supplimentation regemin to kick the symptoms and help my brain heal as fast as possible. He is very thorough and looks at the individual as a whole and truly believes that the recovery can be accelerated through natural remedies rather than prescribed drugs.

FBC, always good to see another post from you. You've done quite a good job of documenting this whole process. Out of curiosity, what did the docs have to say about serotonin syndrome and neurotoxicity in your case? Have they offered much in terms of suggestions for what to do from here or possible further tests to take to determine brain function? It'd be great to know if you get the chance.

Yeah PMZ, I was the same. Didn't really notice my appetite being affected or eating causing a particular increase in anxiety. Then again maybe I just wasn't aware of it. Sleep seemed to bring about more of the symptoms. The only time I got brain zaps was when I was about to wake up and everyday the anxiety upon waking was the worst.

PMZ, when you get a full list of the supplements your nutritionalist recommends will you come back and post it. I'd like to add some more supplements to my regimen as well.

Anyways, good news FBC on the strokes. I hope to see continued improvement on your part. You've been going through this for quite awhile so for all the people just starting on this journey positive news from you really means a lot. Take care and all the best.
Yak

You need to increase the dosage and persist with the re-dosing.......then you'll get them.

Only joking kids, this is a HR forum. (As im constantly reminded)

I ve only had brain zaps after some pretty mega heavy multi-day binges. When you still have them (zaps) after a few days you get that "is this permanent thought!" - which increases any anxiety your probably experience after a mega binge.

They are not nice, but you just have to trust that they will subside. Folk get zaps coming of certain anti-depressants, not just MDMA
