abusing psychedlics makes me less depressed. i'm talking about daily k/pcp or acid 3 times a week, going through a couple sheets a month. hell i'd be abusing psychedelics right now if i wasn't dead broke from a bullshit lawsuit.
No posts regarding personal drug use
how does heavy abuse of these mind altering drugs affect you? How do you minimize the negative side effects, or do you feel it is doing you good? I'd like to hear how you guys feel about using such powerful drugs too often...
I would like to join here in this conversation however I believe it needs to be re-worded first. Reading the rules and guidelines I came across this.
No posts regarding personal drug use, drug sources, synthesis, availability, quality, price, etc. This is not the place for that type of activity, regardless of legality of the substance in question.
Sorry, I didn't feel that was clear at all though.. the MAPS mods can move this over to PD if they want![]()
I just wanted to clarify this a bit further, based on what I know. Because this is a research oriented forum, people's personal and subjective reporting is less important. For instance, someone stating their personal truth about a drug may not correspond to the current research findings, and thus there would be conflict. Likewise, some statements are simply personal ones and cannot be subject to positive or negative review. i.e. "LSD is the best drug in the world! Why would you want to take anything else?" vs. "LSD would appear to be popular among [null] age group, and the recorded responses indicated it was because of X, Y, and Z. Here is more info (scientific link) if you want to read more."
Other areas of BL permit people to emote about drugs regardless of the inaccuracies, but the MAPS section will hold people to a higher standard. The MAPS mods are currently assessing whether or not the rules need to be re-stated more clearly. For now, please adhere to the stated rules as best you can. The rules are, for the most part, unambiguous.
How can we talk about psychedelic abUSE without talking about psychedelic USE?
yALLWell, I was being a crabapple a bit too... Anyways, yeah I can see your point. It is possible to relay general information without going into specifics but of course this isn't as helpful as all the details would be.Don't get me wrong Folley I think this is a great thread in the right place, Like Foreigner stated it is all about how we word things, I highly dought MAPS wants wants to hear about all the drugs we consumed, however I think they are more interested in what we all have done to recover and our harm reduction methods. If they ever need to reference these threads there not going to want to quote someone admitting to consuming everything under the sun, thats why it needs to be kept more about the science and health aspects along with research.
The issue at hand is Personal drug use, saying I took this that and the other thing is unneeded here, everyone gets the main point.
Sorry for being a crab apple, I just think this MAPS thread is an amazing treat to the BL community and there organization can make real changes in the world with our help, so we should follow the rules and leave personal drug use stories out, that is just my misely little opinion.

But it's not dangerous to everyone, right?Taking mushrooms, especially that much, every week, is extremely dangerous to mental health. MAPS, I think psychs have an invaluable use in psychiatry but I'm all about hr and will jump in when something which bad advice could be extrapolated from is written.
Posts about personal drug use are accepted in the Psychedelic Harm Reduction forum, as long as they relate to psychedelic harm reduction. If and when conversations turn into experience reports instead of harm reduction advice, we will need to either remove the offending posts or remind the thread to stay on the topic of harm reduction.I just wanted to clarify this a bit further, based on what I know.
