Hello, I'm new here. I decided to post here and spend a little more time lurking so I don't fumble around like I have been, posting things where they don't belong and such. I've been on this site before when looking for experience reports and advice on whatever I was interested in before, and decided to join up so I have a place to ask questions and reduce harm and bad experiences I've had in the past. I'm very thankful for sites like this, they are very helpful for helping people to make the right decisions and not hurt themselves.

I am new as well and I am clueless as to where I need to ask a specific question concerning the safety of using the method of injecting Dilaudid Subcutaneous or not....I am a newbie here and injecting as well. I have ordered the micron filters, the Bacteriostatic Water.... I even ordered Sodium Chloride Bacteriostatic just in case, along with some Butterfly Catheter IV's. I also ordered a whole bunch of luer lock syringes and needles as well, not to mention the sterile Vials to contain the diluted Dilaudid. I am just not able to stick myself in the veins at all....the thought makes me want to throw up. And I can't be ending up in the ER for severe, out of control pain so I am going to try and do this at home. I spent like over $$$ ordering supplies. I ordered the Butterfly Catheter IV just in case that I am unable to inject Subcutaneous (under the skin).

Personally, I would never recommend injecting anything, but you'll do what you do and I'm not going to judge.
Try using their search feature. If that doesn't work, then post your question to the Homeless forum.
I'm sure a moderator might see this and be able to help you out.

shekaal, I would recommend searching around, but if it's something you plan to do relatively soon and don't want to take the time to do that, I'd rather see you safe above all else. Try starting up a thread in Other Drugs.

Injecting anything unless you are a nurse or doctor is an idiotic idea.
Sure you get to the peak immediately, and the rush is intense, and the pinch of a needle can be cravable, and causing self harm can be a turn on, and the burn feels Oh so good.
It's still a one way track for an accidental od.
and besides dead veins are ugly, why ruin your sexy complexion with bruises and dead veins.

Welcome to Bl Raven Madd. Before you start injecting, have you tried other methods? Just a suggestion, because once you pull the trigger on injecting, it is kind of hard to go backwards. Just hate to see you go down a path that once the bell is rung you can't un-ring it. Be safe, I guess that why you are here!!
