So they can fuck right off. WTF is it with this attitude. Partying is about getting fucked up, listening and dancing to great music and meeting new folk and these bell ends are trying their hardest to put up fucking barriers with all this VIP shite and daft dress codes.

At 16:00 in 35degree heat the last thing I want to do is dress up. I want to be cutting about in my shorts and t shirt and a pair of flip flops. I'll be on Bora Bora with my 750ml bottle of San Miquel for 2e have a better time than cunts in shirts sweating their bollox off paying 8e for a 250ml bottle of Heineken.........rant over

Fuck knows what thats all about, maybe trying to push it in slowly, fuck it anyway ushuaia is a 5* hotel, the only people who can afford to stay there are people with too much money, the same cunts you will find sitting right at the back in the VIP area with there champagne etc I dont like the way its going, theres also that "ocean beach club" and there are loads of new "5* developments" planned for playa den bossa, dosent look good at all but thats the way they are trying to go. and whatever else, like you said though just head to bora bora, 6euro for a litre of vodka and a shit load of drugs and your good to go, wear whatever the fuck you want.

All my mates just went in shorts/tshirt and were all fine for the opening etc

The sat we get there it's pure Pacha for Hardwell, We Love Space on the sunday, Privilege state of trance opening party on the mon, Together at Amnesia on the tues, ushuaia on the the wed for axwell, Cream opening night on the thurs then beach party and amnesia or something

There are way too many tickets for VIP etc when you look on that site, not good

Went last September and it does have that sort of vibe. Worst thing is the queue for the bogs, but the drink deal is suprisingly good. You might pay for the same as a spirit and mixer as you would in Space, but the measures are loads better - I reckon a good 5 or 6 units, where as Space is prob a UK double.

Only thing I have definitely planned for when you're there is Space on Tues night/Wed morning. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Josh Wink are on then.

Cheers for all the advice. Will prob go with three reasonable-ish (well, for Ibiza) nights on MDMA, with maybe some afternoon coke pick me ups... Can't wait now. Off in a week!
 
Awesome forum. First time to Ibiza. So for clubbing (space etc), are shorts/shirt/flip flops okay or for some you are required jeans+collars shirt etc?
Also, how are the lines to get into clubs? Do they have strict policy such as girl:guy ratio etc? Cheers

I think the only club that has any sort of a door policy is Pacha, as far as I know they need some sort of shoes (anything but flip flops) and no swim shorts and your good to go, all other clubs, shorts, tshirt and shoes are fine. Wouldnt wear flip flops to go clubbing though, glass on the floor plus I bet they ache like fuck.

No girl:guy ratio lol dont know anywhere that does that apart from them shite bars where you have to dress like your going to an interview, unless theres like 20 lads in the que all togethor making a riot, but that would be more about being loads of rowdy lads than any ratio.

Pre buy your tickets and you can often que jump, ques are only ever like 20 odd minutes maxium though, depends what time you get there really.

Pill wise, rockstars and volkswagens seem to be good and everywhere

Thanks, much appreciated. I am from Australia, and it's almost impossible or at least a very long wait to get into a club without girls if you are a group of guys.

Should be an awesome trip. Are you going this year? Will be there in mid July. I don't think I'll prepaid tickets just because I'm not even sure where I'll be heading.
 
Yeah fatal mistake buying tickets in advance unless its something your so desperate to see and would be devastated to miss.

Ibiza has a way of wrecking pre-made plans as one night spills into the next day and then carries on.....Its too easy to get carried away with the partying which can wreck pre-made plans.

Just make sure you get lots of wristbands from ticket sellers, this way you'll not have to pay fullprice and keeps your options open.
 
Yeah thanks for the tips. Will be there from Sat 20th July until Weds 24th. What are the recommendations in terms of clubs? I know Space Sunday is a must.

Sankeys is good and SPACE is also.

Pacha and Amnesia are packed and usually too full.

Really depends on what sort of music your into.

Aye yeah I was just saying you can often que jump if you pre buy them, I pre bought all my tickets first year I went and was a mistake, always bought them out there since going. Since you can get your supplies and tickets from 1 person makes sense...plus plans always change shouldnt be rooted to doing one thing. Dont think ive ever heard of a club selling out, unless its like david guetta I dont really think they have a capacity lol

12 of us paid 45 euro each for some boat party and none of us even ended up going as only 3 of us were back at the hotel by 2pm the next day for it, them wristbands are good but im sure you have to be in the club early with a few of them, we got some carl cox tickets for 15euro instead of the usual 30 but had to be in before 12

Also how much money would people say for 6 days in Ibiza? I'm hoping a grand will do it but one of my mates is taking 2grand, surely that's excessive.

Debating taking some flake, 2cb and kamagras over. Still not sure it's worth attempting though one lad does seem keen to try.
 
Agreed £1k is plenty for 6 nights. Although you'll spend it all especially if you like your coke. Im taking £1800 for 11 nights, hopefully come back with some.

Im planning on doing a few quiet days getting a car and gonna do some grown up stuff......well that's what im saying now. As soon as i get up and the suns out I just say "fuck it"and get on the drink and drugs.

If you like the lineup your nights will be fine, its a special place where ever you go
 
^ That's what I thought, excellent stuff so buzzing for it. Just got some new shades and a rake of wifebeater tank tops I ordered last week. Only thing that's bugging me is I know I'll feel a mess after the 3rd day on it. Going to try and avoid the pills/MDMA as far as possible.
