Can anyone help, on Sunday I found an iPhone 5 in a takeaway. Anyway I've whizzed the SIM card and restored the phone to get rid of the passcode on it. If I sell it on ebay, is there anyway the original owner can trace it back? Just don't want to end up with a £350 bill in a couple of months time
 
i ended up in teh North American Social bit of BL & my god are they screwed up on Opiates . Of the threads that were being posted in only 4 were not about Opiates .

I can see that the business to be in is The Rehab one . That's one generation of fuked up middle class white kids who's parents are going to spend hundreds of thousands on Rehab .
It ain't like they can just go & get a methadone script like over here.
It looks proper grim & was a timely reminder of how good we have it in EADD even when it is slow around here .

The IEMI won't be changed so the original owner can totally trace it back to you if sell it on ebay and it pops up on the network again, infact if you've turned it on since flashing it and changing the SIM, the network already knows which cell it talked to and roughly where you are, if the owner reports it stolen, you're stuffed.

@dan Did you make reasonable efforts to reunite its owner with it? Doesn't sound like it- in which case, shitty behaviour.

I thought you were joking but there is actually some well weird shit going on with her hair on the left hand side of the photo! That black blur right at the edge is a hallmark of inexpert use of the healing brush. My guess is that she thought she looked too much like a quarterback and lowered her shoulders. Or she's a man with a big hairy dick and has toned down her 5 o'clock shadow a bit too.
 
Yeah man these days if i found a mobile i would try & get it back to it's owner . It's almost like losing a Laptop 2 some folk .

I've got a proper expensive Heroin & Crack Habit as well .
 
i found an iphone in a bush a few weeks ago. i spent a few days researching if i could use it, as it was locked. i finally found a method to unlock it but by that time my conscience had got the better of me and i posted it to the apple store in glasgow. i'm glad i did that because i would feel guilty otherwise, people are very attached to their phones ;) do the right thing and send it in, they can trace the owner of the phone using the emei number.
 
Oh yeah & Karma would surely bite you in the bollox if you didn't re unite said phone .

Flipside when you do re unite phone Karma may work in the other way n your good will & judgement will be rewarded .
