I won't have anybody call the Sisters 'goth'. They parodied the whole schtick pretty well though. So well that they developed a substantial goth following, most of whom missed the humour completely. :D

I had no idea this day existed. I suppose it's something to do with that poor Sophie Lancaster girl, though?

Admirable in a way I suppose. Crap musical genre though. Better than rap, but only because the clothes aren't quite as embarrassing.

Indeed, it was a terrible incident. But you risk falling into the same trap as the 'chavs' who committed the crime, simply by dehumanising them as 'chavs'.

Don't get me wrong - I deplore their intolerance, weakness of character and disregard for the rights of others to dress how they wish. I'd probably take momentary pleasure in seeing them get a taste of their own medicine to be brutally frank.

Ultimately though, intolerance breeds intolerance.
