Plugging 3-methylmorphine? (Codeine)

I got a shitload of T3s... You guys think I could shove a few tabs directly up my ass with good results, I mean with somewhat enhanced effects (come up, bioavailability..) compared to oral administration? :? Usually I don't need to do a CWE for my codeine needs. With my present tolerance, 60mg combined to a few grams of kratom satisfy me plenty...

lol, yeah it might be better to dissolve them first. I could even do a very diluted CWE of 5-6 T3s and plug that. My only problem is finding the appropriate gear. I don't have any kind of syringe... Guess I can easily get some kind of pastry tool for that purpose right? I never plugged anything before...
 
No, codeine is a prodrug, you WANT it to go straight to the liver. Oral administration is the only rational way to dose codeine.
 
Of course, I know about the prodrug thing, but it's still gonna pass thru the liver even if plugged, no? And the conversion of codeine to morphine thru the 2d6 enzymatic pathway is not the only way - not even the main way - codeine provides analgesia according to research. If I'm not mistaken, the liver does its job producing active metabolites whether the drug is IVed, swallowed or plugged. In other words: it doesn't matter how the molecule gets in the bloodstream, it will eventually pass thru the liver, and maybe MORE of the drug will meet the liver if the drug is plugged, cos less of it might be destroyed by enzymes and acid in the stomach... Well, maybe a physician could enlighten us?

by plugging codeine it bypasses first pass metabolism but then metabbolised in the livercwhen it makees its wsy their via absorption through the blood vessels in the rectum which makes its way to your liver.

Im not a physician.lol But since the oral BA of codeine is in the 90% i dont think you will gain anything from plugging because the conversion rate with either ROA is the same. Also whatever is destroyed by stomach acids will likely be about even with what isnt absorbed by the bowel when plugging.
 
The conversion rate won't be the same, unlike the rest of the digestive tract, many of the blood vessels in the rectum do not run directly to the liver, such as the inferior rectal veins which run to the inferior vena cava which goes straight to the heart.
 
Ok.lol it seems the conversion rate isnt the same but either way it seems to back the point that plugging codeine is pointless.

Ya know guys, the more I hear about it, the less I think it's worth the hassle. wtf, a simple cwe will do the trick when/if I need a heavy dose ;)
