I have the weirdest story for y'all. I was working at a garage at the time, and I just scored 2 buns. I did 5 bags and would put the rest in a pill bottle with a cut off pen for a straw. Now normally, I put the pill bottle back into my tool box and lock the drawer for safe keeping, but it was getting late and I had a lot of work to do so I stuck it in my pocket. I've done that before and never had a problem with it.
It was like a half an hour after we closed and I went to grab it out of my pocket. Hmm, it's not there. I must of put it in my tool box in my travels. I go to the tool box and look through it. Now I'm getting worried. I check all the usual stash spots, nothing. Now I'm starting to wonder where it is. I'm freaking out. Then all of the sudden, I remember I was working underneath this guys dash. Could it have slipped outta my pocket onto his floor? Now, I not only don't have my shit anymore, but I could get in trouble with my work or the law.
I go into the computer and find the work order with his phone number and call him up. I asked, "Did you find a bottle of pills on your floor, I think I might have lost it in your car", to which he replied," I'm still driving home." Luckily, this guy looked in his 30's about my age. I actually asked him to check for it and made him pull over. He said he found it. I asked him where he was. He lived kind far from the garage. I told him that I needed that medicine(I really did) and I would meet him anywhere. We decided to meet at a walmart next to where he was.
I jumped in my car and flew down there, it took about half an hour to get there. What do you do when you find something in your car? If he shook the bottle i'm sure he would have figured out there wasn't pills in it. So I'm thinking the whole time that he would open the bottle and find out what was in there. A couple of scenario's went through my mind. One, he would discover my cache of yummies and call the police, or two he would get sketched out and just not show up. As I pulled into the walmart I found his car and he got out real quick and handed me the bottle. I thanked him so much and told him again how much I needed that and I was so grateful he did that. He gave that look like he knew what was up. I couldn't believe that whole thing happened, it was so weird. I thought that I was gonna pull up and mad cruisers were gonna rush me. Now, I constantly check my pockets if I'm holding something.
