My cheese obsession is out of control now.

I am now on a stilton kick .... "Cropwell Bishop Blue" from waitrose at summat shocking like £17 a kilo so I only get 250g a time as it only stays fresh a few days.
Tastes amazing though.

Now I just need the bloody Port and I am set

Youve just picked out 3 random signing though, could say the same about fergie really hes haid his fair share of shit signings, but who hasent. Hes also had his fair share of very good ones

TBF mate most of his signings are/were complete shit

One thing I did chuckle at ....
I see on that list he sent out Jack Bidwell to Brentford on Loan.
And Sold Jack Rodwell to Man City for £12 Million.

Given how the latter has played this season, would anyone really have known the difference between the 2 ? lol

Much as I want rooney to stay if its true and hes handed in another transfer request then he can leave, just dont do a wenger. Any non UK club would be fine for me, £45m bare minimum and bring someone in who wants to be here. Anderson needs to go also, hes asked to leavea a few times and he dosent even warrant a place in the team, been poor.

David Gill is currently in madrid though meeting with jorge mendez, could mean a few things,. ronaldo?, mourinho now ruled out,,, or a madrid player? or FUCK ALL. £25m to chelsea comments I thought were hilarious, fucking jordan henderson was £20m, Downing was £20m, caroll £35 etc etc.....lucas moura went for something daft like 45m euroes to PSG

Lucas Moura is quality though, and given his age and resale value and brand potential. the price was fine for him. I think PSG got a great deal.

Oscar went for almost £20 million , so no way Lucas would go for less, especially after Neymar is being shopped around at twice the price.
Rooney will never cost £45 million, your having a laugh.
I would be amazed if he was ever sold for even half that.

Good win today, basically in the CL now, unless Spurs can win their next 2 games by 17 goals or summat like that ( At least what I heard)
Shame Eden done his hamstring, he would have given Benfica fits on wednesday. Hopefully it means Oscar can play the central role he does for Brazil though.

Benfica have a massive game tonight that may decide the league, so hopefully they are worn out as well.

PS this must be the worst FA cup final of all time, doesnt even feel like one with the late kick off.

90 mins is enough, I dont think I would watch 30 mins of extra time of this crud

Wigan the better side I thought, didnt sit back and played them at there own game. All the better seeing few of my bitter city mates are at the match. :D

Some people luckier than others.

Well that will teach me to leave a game before the final whistle.

Gotta hand it to the clueless ( female) reporters

Asks Mancini ..." Are you dissapointed"

Mancini .."Yes"

Female reporter for BBC "With what part ?"

Erm , I would think he was upset at the losing the game part. you daft bint.

Palermo relegated. This has made me very happy.
Their chairman makes Roman look like a rational bloke.

28 managers in 10 years. In one span of 19 days I think he fired 3 managers, something crazy like that.
Thats not the main reason I hate him, its his continual ramping up of prices of his players once he knew Chelsea were interested.

He said he wouldnt sell Javier Pastore to Chelsea for less than £50 million as thats what we paid for Torres.
He then went and sold him to PSG for £35 Million.

And lets not get started on his alleged Mafia links

Hope they never come back to Serie A.
Shame Siena went down, truly wonderful city and a great place to watch a game when the sun is out . After a day at the cities museums

just spent last 6hrs watching Man Utd and Alex Ferguson, had a few tears but a lot of smiles and happy memories.

Credit where its due, he basically changed the fortunes of one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Of course as a Chelsea fan, we remember him moreso for his 2 wins out of 15 games against Jose Mourinho, which is why we laugh a bit about the "greatest manager ever" comments.

Great manager yes.
Not on par with the likes of Paisley or Udo Lattek or Tele Santana IMO
For Longevity and consistancy yeah he is certainly up there though.

Why was this thread allowed to get to the second page? Don't slack off:)

Looking forward to tonight, should be a decent match. Personally I love Rafa so obviously would want him to get the cup and stick two fingers up the fickle fans who don't appreciate him.

I expect TLM had good un if he made the trip .

Got back this morning, great night and brilliant win.
We stayed out of trouble, although from what I heard there were a lot of Anderlecht and Ajax fans looking for some.

The Benfica fans are great( for the most part), they really do belt out the chants and we had a good laugh with them around the stadium.
Some of our lot were so stoned they were almost asleep at the game !!!

The segregation wasnt great , we got face value tickets outside the ground ( so much for Uefa and their ticketing policy) A lot of Benfica fans were above us and throwing lighters, coins etc at us, the stewards did nowt as usual.

Ivans header made it all worth while though.

In retrospect we should have stayed in amsterdamn the night before , heard it was cracking like in this clip...

Then again maybe not as you always get stuff like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Fd9MDYLS1Y
What that clip doesnt show is Benfica throwing bottles at Chelsea beforehand

All in all a great trip
