I have like a million days built up of vacation time at work because I have been here forever and always roll over my time into the next year. I am cashing in this summer, taking off two months and doing the entire Summer Phish tour. Should be awesome :)

Saw Streetlight Manifesto two weeks ago. Awesome show. Sadly, they didn't sell their new album at the merch booth even though it was the official release date. Damn those fuckers at Victory ...:X
 
well, i'll be seeing two of my favorite bands, shellac and swans toward the end of may, on two consecutive nights no less. still have to stock up on drugs for those, my first instinct is to drop a tab of acid or some 2c-b for the swans show, but maybe it would be smarter to simply go for some smack instead. immensely looking forward to both shows.
 
I just got back from Tallest Man on Earth.

Holy shit bros, that man is a fucking legend. One guitar, one voice, and a ridiculous amount of musical talent. Fuck me, I was starting to feel pretty good about my own guitar playing before I saw this guy completely disillusion me about any progress I thought I might have made. Strand of Oaks opened for him, and they were pretty cool themselves, but it's a Tall order to open for T-MOE.

Now I'm gonna shamble my drunk ass off to bed and pass out for a bit.
 
I have seen Twin Shadow every single time he's come to Atlanta. I'm on show four. At this point I need to just wait outside his hotel room and tell him this.

i'll be seeing them then in Ashville. Music Midtown is going on sale Saturday and I'm buying two tickets Saturday for one band. it kills me to pay 65$ for just one but music midtown sucks. Twin Shadow tonight and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO WEAR. I really need to impress George.
