I agree. it is very annoying. half of the people in these scenes (especially local east coast) haven't been around long enough to know what a real roll feels like. it sucks, and they don't even know what they're missing out on. although pressed pills were sometimes unreliable, when a good press was going around like G's up ho's down or the various stars the vibes at parties were amazing. it's really taking a toll on the scene. I wouldn't mind if M1 was around as well as good mdma, and people were straight up about what they were selling (molly is now a term used for methylone, but most dealers I've talked to will tell you it's m1 if you ask). it's becoming harder and harder to distinguish between bk-mdma and mdma, almost like they are manufacturing it to taste and look like the real deal.
this is the batch of methylone making the rounds around here. the smell is like a faint cathinone smell, slightly reminiscient of mephedrone. the taste is salty and chemically, almost indistinguishable from the taste of mdma, save for the lack of liquorice/sassafrass notes. I wouldn't be surprised if they started adding safrole related compounds.
this batch is not like any methylone I've had in the past. I used marquis on it and it slowly turned to this color, indicating methamphetamine.
The next morning it had turned to this color
obviously I was extremely confused by this and the only way I found out what it really was by straight up asking the source. when I initially thought it was meth I injected it ,it has a very typical meth come up, down to the taste in my throat, tingling on my scalp, and feeling in chest. within 30 seconds of injecting my pupils were dimed, I could actually feel them dilating and didn't need to look in a mirror to tell. After 5 minutes of the meth come up there is a complete overhaul of euphoria, potent, empathetic. eyes wobbling back and forth, and the next day isn't bad at all. sleep is easy 2 hours after the last shot. unlike oral, you can redose multiple times throughout the night, granted you may need more than you did initially.
the problem is, most people don't inject it. very few people inject it and the people who take it orally have to take massive doses and the speedy comeup that passes quickly when I.V.'d is more drawn out. I have somewhat of a theory on why you can peak when you i.v. it and when you take it orally it's thoroughly disappointing. because of how fast the levels of the drug peak when injected you get to feel the full effect because your body can't metabolize it in 10 minutes, taken orally as the effects start to kick in your body is already working dilligently on metabolizing the drug.
I don't recommend injecting research chemicals. that is bad news. however when I injected the above methylone after seeing a test indicate it was meth, I was completely blown away by the effects. I've had white powder methylone in the past and I ended up binning it it was so bad.
I think people need to start pressing legit pills on the east coast, shit if they must they can toss a little methylone in with the mdma if it really makes them feel better. I can see after hours clubs losing business because of this drug, or starting to become infested with meth. who wants to go to a party from midnight to 6 am when the only drug available is methylone, and that will only keep them good for an hour or two.
I went out to a club last night and never seen so many people sitting on the side lines. I hope these methylone chemists discover some novel way to make mdma instead, because some of them clearly know what they are doing. and methylone isn't even legal anymore, so what is the point?
