Misc Cold/Flu-like symptoms after GHB

So here´s my problem:

After every time I used GHB lately, I ended up expiriencing cold/flu like symptons a few days after. And they would last for pretty long, a few days al least. The lymph nodes on my throat are pretty swollen, other symptoms like runny nose or shit in my throat are there too, but not so strong....but I feel really like I´m sick, maybe even a bit feverish.

I had that everytime I did GHB this year. It must be that, I checked ma calendar.

Is that a know Issue or what could be happening here?

lol maybe you just got a cold everytime coincidence? How long breaks did you take off between dosing?
 
Long breaks, several weeks. Last time was 5 weeks ago...and now it happened again. And on two more occasions in January and february. It basically feels like my immune-system goes batshit after I did GHB.

It´s not that bad this time, I only did a little GHB on saturday, feeling better today. I´m just gonna stop using GHB altogether. It´s clearly what makes me sick, so begone.
 
Are all of these experiences from the same lot of GHB? Possible there is some sort of contaminant in there?

Either way, if there is a clear correlation between taking a drug and getting bad side-effects, stopping usage is best.

Yes, it´s from the very same GHB. I was thinking too that it might be some sort of contamination. It´s clearly my immune-system that is acting up hardcore, fighting something.

On the other hand, my immune system is very down this year anyway (long winter, had a terrible flu in february). Maybe it can't handle this stuff right now altogether.

I guess I´ll give it another shot in a few month. Than I will know for sure. My GHB, mixed in water, won't go bad in the fridge, right? ;-)
 
I've had the exact same thing, and it seems to be dose independent. Except in my case it's not a few days after, it's within some hours of it wearing off (to the extent I'll wake up that night with a blocked nose etc.) That this is the only other report I could find on the internet of anything similar makes me wonder, as mentioned above, if it's a batch impurity. Seems like a very odd impurity if so though.
 
kind of sounds like typical rebound withdrawal, after years of using it with breaks, you'll start to notice you feel like shit everytime you use it for even a day or two. Same thing happens to me when opiates/benzos, so i think it's possible GHB would act similarly.
 
So, I tested it again...I took GHB on sunday. A lot this time. And sure enough, tuesday the cold-like symptons started. First it was a mild "burning" in my nose and stuff (respiratory system that is? sorry my english). Since wednesday noon I have a sore throat, blocked nose and feel totally under the weather...Like it´s a fucking cold. Worse this time than before (the dosage was higher aswell).

So I´m guessing that´s a reaction of my body. System shut down, Immune-reaction...whatever. I tossed the rest of the GHB bottle yesterday.

Now I know for sure. Too bad though, because it´s a cool drug. I didn't have these reactions from other batches. Maybe that stuff I had is bad...or my body doesn't like me doing drugs anymore.
 
Having the same thing after Ketamine right now. I guess the flu like symptoms come from exhaustion after drug use.

Oh well.
 
Hi, I've used a lot of ghb a few years ago (never 24/7, usually 1, maybe 2 doses in 24h) and never experienced anything similar. All I got were the standard good effects (relaxation, great sleep, ...). Maybe you had a bad batch or it just isn't the drug for you?
 
i have a little experience with ghb and never experienced anything like Op mentioned..the only thing i experienced the following day after using Ghb was slight dizziness and slight increased anxiety..i cant see Ghb causing you to get a sore throat..
