Gibberings CXXXII: Like an overweight person consuming a poor-tasting biscuit

Righty, all powdered, pampered, smooth and sweet-smelling and ready to face the world. Has been ages since I was in civilisation so preparation is key. If Wrexham counts as civilisation anyway. Off to sit on a train for bastard hours. See y'all later. Hopefully with summat of use to make the journey worthwhile after all this wait. If they tell me I'm only getting fukkin acupuncture and counselling I'll not be a happy bunny :!

Ah good luck! Can't beat being all smooth and sweet-smelling.

Just in from the shops, few nice new things, Ocarina of Time 3D, and some paramol to shove up my arse. And some of that new cucumber flavoured (maybe scented would be a better word?) Gordon's, for a bit later on depending on how the bumming goes. Am tempted to get the woman to assist in that but I don't think she'd understand. She's fine with drug use but 'hold that while I bend over...' might be a bit much.

*Waves at Snolly*
I skimmed that post and read Cucumber and shove up arse - WTF! Re -read and makes a bit more sense :D.

I'm currently cooking - doing a spicy Pumpkin soup for starters, main is going to be Aubergine and Chicken bake served with garlic baked potatoes.

I am also enjoy a cans.

Snolly - if you like Gin have you tried Bombay Sapphire ? Really nice drink :)

Hahaha, hey, nah me afternoon isn't gonna be that interesting, sadly ;) Don't think I've had Bombay Sapphire, will give it a whirl as have just got back into drinking the stuff via my best mate. She's a proper 'Gin Lane' style gin drinker lol.

Food sounds damn good, made me realise I've never actually had pumpkin. Will stick that on the to do list.

Been messing about with an ancestry.co.uk free trial, all I've found out so far is what anyone could have told me, were they willing. Which they haven't been, for some reason. I literally didn't know my paternal great grandfather's name until today 8( Mum's side, on the other hand, are extensively documented so no need to go there. Think there's adoptions and immigration and affairs on dad's side, which is waaaaaay more interesting.

I think I have a tooth abscess and can't get any time off work for the next week or so to see a doctor or dentist. Anyone have any recommendations for temporary treatment? I've been taking codeine/ibuprofen for the pain and applying benzocaine to the tooth to numb it. It's working a little but I'm still in lots of pain.

Any helpful experiences EADDers?

(apologies for lack of coherence/grammar, I'm stealth posting from work)

It's a bit much that you can't get time off work for a fucking abscess. Sounds like you're employed by cunts. If it was me in any job I've had I would just book the dentist and tell the boss that I had an appointment on x day at y time.

Just don't mix up your cucumber for a pumpkin when your having a more interesting afternoon -I have visions of - Hello 999 - I was in the shower and....Gourd Help us 8)

That Ancestry thing sound interesting - I haven't spoken to any of my family in about 20 years (much easier that way) so I could maybe find out a bit of information as I'm really pretty ignorant about my family tree etc. Adoptions, immigrations and affairs (oh my :D) - do sound more interesting than an Aunt Maude who ran a wool shop.

Enjoy your bum fun, Ocarina of Time 3D and cucumber Gin - I don't think I will ever have the chance to say that again :D.

knock : I would of thought the reason you can taste drugs you haven't had in your mouth is because they are partly secreted in saliva and breath, rather than your butt being directly connected to your tongue ;)

That was Shambles' idea not mine! I just did the research to back up his claim. My own theory was just that there must be a blood supply to the olfactory organs and if there are drugs in the blood, some of it will reach them. But it makes more sense that they get there as part of the waste management process. ;)

Oh god that made me snigger, 'gourd help us' =D

Aye it's an interesting one, weirdly I'd love to have a wool shop in the family. I'd live in it. A carpet shop too. I think I need help. I'm on good terms with my Mum's lot but my Dad's lot are few and far between and very...not talky, except my Dad, and he knows fuck all about em. At my Gran's 80th me and my cousin were sat trying to figure out who we were and weren't related to. All the weird ones, turns out.

Shall enjoy all of the above thanks, have a good un yourself <3 Bum fun is indeed fun, am about to try out the gin and the Ocarina (which my phone keeps trying to correct to 'Ovarian'. I hate my phone.

Just came back to see my therapist, he said I'm the only bloke under 30 he's seen in a while who doesn't have a problem with crack:)

I also had to correct him when he mentioned "methedrone" and said it was a crystal meth derivate, he was quite surprised to find out it was actually a cathinone. Anyway, bullshit meeting, friendly chap but I don't see how anything positive could come of this.

Still I'm just gonna play compliant and go along with it, buy some time until I find a job and can move out again.

Just watched three of my housemates attempt to open a coconut, they finally managed to crack it and then one of them goes 'Ooh this doesn't taste like I expected'.

Lordy heavens.

edit: they are not fans of my cucumber gin either. fortunately :sus:

Coconut is lovely . In Sri Lanka i used to get em daily but the Mango juice that they have over their is amazing . So thick that your straw stands up .

Sri Lankan Cuisine is special .

We'll need to wait for Mailmonkey to get the proper method of opening coconuts but while we wait, I would drill a couple of holes, pour out the "milk", then smash it with a hammer.

I love both mangoes and coconuts. I used to buy mangos when I had acid trips planned, sticking your face in a juicy mango after a few blotters is an epic experience, the fruity taste and sugar just hits you like crazy, so good.
