It doesn't seem tooooooo bad, the last half of it is actually the article he claimed he was going to write, warning that govt legislation is what's killing people, but it's certainly not presented from this POV. :(

A bad batch? With a relatively niche drug like 2-CE that's pretty scary.

I've guzzled plenty of that stuff too.
 
I think it's clearly bullshit.

The 19-year-old died at a flat in Witham, Essex after taking some of the "crudely-produced" drugs from the LSD family, known as 2CE.

Hardly suggests journalistic integrity or actual information.

Also, 2C-E is known to be incredibly non-toxic even in extreme overdose (there's a report about of a bloke who accidentally took nearly a gramme in a single dose and survived - said he actually quite enjoyed it once he decided he was probably gonna die so may as well enjoy the ride :D). I can't see why anybody would be knocking up dodgy batches. Is very widely available and cheap as fuck anyway. Also one of the most widely-used 2Cs. Why only one death from a "crudely-produced batch"?
