No, you're not.
It's OK. It's not your fault, obviously.

lol

I was waiting on someone to comment before I explained, this is something my ex-girlfriend wrote while she was psychotic on methamphetamine (circa 2011-2012-ish, if memory serves me right). I decided to entitle this "Meth, Not Even Once" because I think that just reading this would help people choose not to use meth if they knew that there was any possibility they would end up writing things like this. It was too bizarre not to share.

That's interesting, because I use meth specifically for writing purposes (I'm a screenwriter) and point of fact the little blurb you put up is interesting lol.

Why you started using it isn't really easy to explain like how you can mathematically explain geometry down to the T (if that's how the saying goes). You took it in high school probably just because.... So its not your fault you've both tried it... so don't even try to blame yourself (it was random, you both just got lost together? Not like it was intended.)

I can't really attempt to explain the rape part... maybe the addiction is being explained here. I guess she wanted to stop but you started to enjoy using (or even the negative things that came with it). So it was no longer clear cut and she didn't know what to do. You were really in its hold.

Idk just a wild guess

[good ol' fashioned meth fueled s&m]
I added what I thought made it make sense

Thanks for sharing guys. I'm in a state where I can't begin to say much else other than I'll probably edit this post later with more thoughts.

There is a point in when an individual overcomes depression that they decide or realize and begin to embrace the concept they can be happy no matter what and it is in their control where you can even begin to enjoy the worst parts of life, as you know that the best parts will more than make up for them.

Just my 2 c.

i just read the first part as gibberish, random nonsense. But it seemed creepy and disjointed, and i enjoyed the 'sound' of it, and it set a nice creepy dark vibe for the rape part.

That i assumed releated to real life event where you [ CH ] discovered a high school girlfriend or close friend about to be gang-fucked.
you rush in to save her only to find out shes up for it

i dont know why i assumed it was a real event but i formed a picture of it in my head and it was uncomfortable to think of a girl so young being into that kind of sex

ps - i dont mean gibberish in a derogatory way, william burroughs and venetian snares churn out tons of random crap and i love it for its randomness not despite of it

ps - i just thought id share that as i found it interesting that our ideas of what that particular line meant were so different, mine very literal i guess

While I don't encourage the use of methamphetamines, states of "psychotic delirium" do not inevitably result from use. To suggest otherwise, based on severely limited observational evidence, is fear mongering. Trying to discourage the use of a drug, by exaggeration or misrepresentation, is just as morally questionably as attempting to encourage use. We cannot resort to the same foul tactics as the enemy, in other words. It should be understood that: amphetamines have enormous potential, but - at the same time - they should be treated with extreme caution. I am tired of people who don't know speed, perpetuating this absurd idea that meth-heads are lunatics. Sigmund Freud used amphetamines throughout his career, particularly when writing his dissertations. Stephen King wrote entire award-winning novels on week-long meth binges.

Adolf Hitler gave his soldiers methamphetamines.

The Nazis saw the potential.

Meth is fucking awesome. Can't say the same for H. But, then, I don't go around fear mongering heroin. This is a harm reduction forum. We should provide information without trying to discourage or encourage use. Simply, ignoring the politics, because it is not our place to do so.

I don't think the piece, as serious writing, is worthwhile. And neither do you. So why post it? Because it's such bad writing, that it can be used to prevent drug abuse? Or such psychotic writing - frankly, it doesn't remind me at all of psychosis - that it might scare someone out of experimenting with drugs in the first place?

There are much worse and much more psychotic pieces of writing than this on Bluelight. It is like something that someone, while fucked up, might scribble on a piece of paper. So, why post it?

This thread has been hitting at a nerve in my sub-conscious. I want to delete it, but - in doing so - I'd be abusing my position as a moderator. So, I'll just say this:

I've been using methamphetamines for fifteen years. I am not an idiot. Meth does not make you an idiot. Nor does it make you a bad writer. There are hundreds of millions of functional meth addicts in the world. Be careful. Do not be afraid.

There's issac Brock lead singer of modest mouse that was (might still be) a speed freak has some songs about how nice meth is
It's nice on ice alright! Hahah its a song if you didn't know
