Posts suggesting other routes of administration that the OP didn't ask about and glorifying drug use have been removed, please remember that BDD is a harm reduction forum.
AYJ601 - It doesn't really matter which drug has a higher BA, the BA does not give you any information about how 2 separate drugs compare to each other effects-wise. It can only tell you that one may be less fully absorbed orally than the other - it doesn't tell you which is stronger. Bioavailability (BA) is a measure of how much of a given drug reaches systemic circulation (bloodstream) when compared to the same drug taken intravenously. So for example, oral Opana (oxymorphone) is listed as having a BA of around 10%, that just means when taken orally in a study the total amount (not peak level) detectable in the blood was on average around 10% of that reaching the blood when oxymorphone was injected. Oral Dilaudid (hydromorphone) is listed as having a BA of around 30%-35%, that just means when taken orally in a study the total amount detectable in the blood was on average around 30%-35% of that reaching the blood when hydromorphone was injected. So injection is always considered 100%, other BA figures are just a comparison to it for that specific drug.
This does not tell you how Opana (oxymorphone) and Dilaudid (hydromorphone) compare. If that is what you would like to know, an opioid converter lists oxymorphone as being just a bit weaker than hydromorphone, with 10mg of oxymorphone equalling around 7.5mg of hydromorphone. Note that these conversions are only a very rough guideline and that it's going to vary a lot from person to person in reality and that you can have incomplete cross-tolerance.
Furthermore, you mentioned in your later post that you are taking Opana ER, which is extended release, so that oxymorphone is being slowly released over time so you can't compare it directly to a regular release med like Dilaudid. You could perhaps roughly compare the total 24 hour dose.
