Back when I was 17, I suffered an amphetamine psychosis from meth use. I stopped using and the symptoms permanently stopped with medication.

I want to drop E, but I am afraid that I will become psychotic again since it is technically an amphetamine.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think you are playing with fire if you take MDMA. But, i could be wrong. You could take it and have a great time. Based on everything iv read, people with any kind of mental conditions taking MDMA or any mind altering drug is a bad idea as it can make your condition worse.

Abstinence is the only safe option. However, no one can tell you whether or not you should do it - it's a choice your going to have to make based on potential risks and rewards. IMO, everyone should have the freedom to do what they want, as long as they are fully informed, respect the drug and are fully aware of what they are getting into.

If you decide to do it, go easy. For someone with no tolerance, less than 100mg SHOULD be safe whilst enabling you to have a very nice, clean roll. Don't blindly smash half a gram or wtv your friends do, as they probably don't understand the concept of harm reduction and don't have the same history of drug use as you. If it turns out to be a good experience, be patient and wait at least another 3 months before you try it again and don't up the dose dramatically. You've got a long life ahead of you - play it safe!

In this situation it's worth weighing up the pros and cons.

Think 'is it really worth it'? And think more about the after effects rather than the effects of being high.

Think about why you made this thread.

Personally I say don't bother. But doing the right thing isn't always as easy as it appears. Especially when it comes to drugs.

Amphetamine psychosis.... the kind brought out by abusing the SHIT out of it for days on end with no sleep, right?

If you take one (tested) dose of MDMA, and do not binge like that, I could see no possible reason for anything bad to occur. Taking untested pills could be a nightmare, though.

I suffered a long term comedown. While I will never go near MDMA again, if I take any A or D amphetamines I feel like SHIT for several days afterwards.

After a traumatic experience on the brain, my body rejects anything similar to MDMA/Amphetamines.

Could you do it an be ok? Probably. Could you do it and open Pandora's box? Possibly.

IMO - your body does not like amphetimes. MDMA is very similar to an amphetamine. Getting high for 4 hours is not worth the potential problems.

As someone who dealt with many months of dp/dr and anxiety because of these drugs - I wouldn't do it.

Well it's a risk... MDMA is a emphatogen/psychedelic amphetamine... I think you would be okay with moderate use, but since you seem to have low self control and a past of amphetamine/meth abuse, I wouldn't take any chance.

MDMA and AMPHETAMINE are TOTALY DIFFERENT THINGS
