Methylone? So whos an expert?

ime, methylone is good for partying (around 200mg) and has the same magic, that has disappeared with mdma for me, but it fells like mdma-light with only parts of the effects (almost no love and it also lacks that cozy mdma-confusion as well as the slight psychedelicness). but for me the comedown is beyond horrible: difficulty sleeping at the end of the experience, tightness in the chest, crazy racing heart and depression for up to a week, whereas mdma only leaves me drained of energy on the following day. i won't touch methylone again because of this, but ymmv; apparently some people who get bad comedowns from mdma, don't get unpleasant effects from methylone at all.

I typically take 1600mg daily for at least a period before the dose; before methylone, I chase with another 1600mg.

I don't think it matches the "MDMA magic" this way, it's still MDMA-lite. But it seems to quite smooth out the comedown and enhance the effects to me... it comes closer.
 
Methylone is the diet coke of love drugs. It's only 1/3rd as good as the real thing. And if you do a whole lot, it's just a jittery high. Anybody who thinks methylone is better than MDMA hasn't had a good dose of real Ecstasy.
 
Note to Chinese chemists: beta-keto-2-methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxyphenylisopropylmethylamine.hcl would be an improvement over methylone (more potent).

I don't think anyone thinks Methylone is better than MDMA, but for people who MDMA is no longer working properly for (lost the magic) if they mix Methylone with Mephedrone or any other stimulant it can simulate the MDMA high pretty well, especially when they can no longer get that feeling from just MDMA. After about 8 years of doing Ecstasy every weekend I just used to get tired off it, even pure MDMA gave me the same feeling, but Methylone + Mephedrone had me gurning and rushing just like I was a few years before on the real thing. Obviously if you haven't abused MDMA stick with it, as it's still the best, but for people who have it's a good replica.
 
I hear you, Chris, but I went to a rave last year and bought methylone "molly" after having been led to believe it was MDMA. I asked the dealer afterwards, and she admitted it wasn't MDMA but rather methylone and had the nerve to offer to explain to me why methylone was better than MDMA--wtf ever. I told her no thanks to the explanation--I'm a chemist. The 19 year old kids there thought they had Ecstasy; they had Ecstasy Light.

For me, the big appeal of methylone is practically zero after-effects. MDMA leaves me very drained the next day and I have to always take that into account. So "better" is relative.

I've heard some people have horrible after-effects on methylone, and some are prone to binge on methylone (more than MDMA)... so YMMV.

Dealers have no scruples, so no surprise that they are passing it off as MDMA. A shame for the poor kids though.

I'll second that. After a night out on methylone there is literally no after effects, I actually feel better the next day. The only bad effect is rapid heartrate the next day when your working out but I haven't done methylone in a little over a year. Once mdma loses its appeal methylone is a great substitute.
 
I took methylone pills one time and i didnt feel shit. Maybe the dose was too low idk? All i know is there is no way it is as good as MDMA. I would be very surprised if it was half as good as MDMA.

Methylone being sold as MDMA? But Methylone is a powder and MDMA comes in crystals, so you'd think it'd be easy to tell, obviously not. At least it's still an active drug, I've had MDMA that looked real, but didn't do a thing! Still, I'd be fucking pissed off if I paid for MDMA and only got methylone, as like I said it's not much good without a stimulant to mix with.
 
Never had MDMA in powder form, I was always told it was cut if it was powder, as pure MDMA forms crystals. But I'm no chemist, so dunno if that's true or not.

Hah, yeah cornstarch has low neurotoxicity too....you wanna play you gotta pay!.....unless you know how to cheat the whole system with other substances....

any drug that the majority of people in the world who've used it either didn't know what it was or thought is was something else, isn't for me....but If I was stuck on a camping trip or a rave and it was the only thing there, fuck it, why not! It must be better than feeling normal! although, from what I know of this drug, it's a hell of a lot better than some of the other "mystery powders" being sold out there......

It's like, "Mom, what's for dinner?"..."Oh, it's stimulant surprise tonight sweetie!"

I have tested some extremely high quality MDxx that is a "powder", also have seen some "Moonrock" methylone which are giant crystals that look better than any MDMA crystals you'll find!



Looks mean nothing.
