Adderall is garbage, Dexedrine/Stat ftw (newbie here)

Haha sorry for the abrupt introduction. After year's of viewing Bluelight anonymously, I have finally decided to join.

Anyways I'm a college student who legally takes his recommended dose of Dexedrine IR each week, and with all the tough science classes this semester I have been on a HELL of a good and bad amphetamine ride. I'm new to this forum obviously, and would like to make friends with fellow ADHD drug takers. I can't tell you how many countless nights I've spent sleepless wishing for a friend to rant with about absolutely nothing! So please feel free to comment.

But yeah.... Adderall is trash. The high (while initially superior) takes large does to maintain and levo-amphetemine puts your heart to work so hard you feel like you're about to have a heart attack. Comparing Adderall to Dexedrine is like comparing Triple C's to Robotussin Gel tabs. Why take all the other dangerous filth when you can just take the pure (D-amphetemine) chemical and have a safer, cleaner high? Love debates.

Im now able to sit and read which was always an issue before. I dont know anyone else with adhd and would be happy to have a rant with u

yeah i fucking love dexedrine. My gf also takes it and finds she is much less impulsive and thinks things through better. I fit the diagnosis for ADHD but don't have my own script yet, cause it takes months to get one but i still take the dexedrine my gf doesnt use and even at 10-20mg i still think it's great especially in helping with focus, tho i don't like when it wears off. anyway welcome to bl

yeah adderall sucks but some people like getting really fucking tweaked; people with ADD/ADHd would definitely get more use out of dexedrine IMO.

Well i know that a 30mg addy has me going for a good 6 hours. Also i love ranting, although i really enjoy particle physics and anything about cosmology is always fun to ponder about.

Hey man thanks for the response and rant invitation! I agree it really is a miracle drug. I too have made some stupid mistakes (getting arrested quite a few times) all while I was drunk. I know on D-Amphet I would never have made these stupid choices. This a true miracle drug that makes me study, focus, happy and caring towards others. I'm sick of the media bashing ADHD medications simply because they fear what they do not understand. Truth is: Hardly anyone has ever died from them, and when taking the auto accident factor into consideration, they are one of the safest alternative drug choices. I refuse to consider them strictly hard drugs. I believe they are "middle of the road" drugs, meaning that in low does they act as a soft drug (such as caffeine) and in higher does they have the potential to be hard drugs. I'm also tired of people saying it's basically Meth in a pill. Uh, no that's actually Desoxyn. Meth is neurotoxic while (correct me if I'm wrong) Dextroamphetemine is not.

Glad to hear someone else is getting great use out of a great drug.

I guess we're all really just different. All of my friends prefer Adderall stating that it's high is more gradual and the comedown is smoother. I actually agree with this, but the high and potency of Dexedrine is much more euphoric and helps me focus 10x better.

Thanks for the welcome! Haha Dexedrine is great because if you can keep your tolerence down you can get a very satisfying, focused and euphoric state from just 15-20mg.

I agree completely. Adderall is cool if you just wanna get high and mess around, but as far as helping me with my ADHD it does literally nothing.
