I'm sure it has. I've probably seen worse - I used to collect all those Faces of Death type vids (funfact: Faces of Death made more money than Star Wars at the box office in Japan - yes it was actually given a cinema release over there :D). It's just that that particular piece of footage really got to me is all.

Hahahahahahahahahaaha! I have a very overweight mother who was often to be found nekkid or not far from it. You get used to it.

Although I did see something recently that said that pregnant addicts probably should continue taking opies cos going into w/d whilst pregnant will stress the baby more and be riskier than detoxing a newborn. Am guessing that injecting heroin wouldn't be the best way of getting your opi fix if in that situation though :\

In other depressing addict news, the one sight that's always haunted me was watching some young kid (16, 17 - summat like that) injecting massive amounts of green methadone syrup into himself. Not gruesome or owt but properly disturbing to see somebody so young with so little interest in not causing himself major harm. Apparently he had some terminal illness and wasn't expected to see much - if any - of his twenties and he'd basically just given up. At the time I knew him he was shooting up 300ml of methadone at a time. Took forever cos he had to keep changing barrels whilst leaving the tip in a vein. Horrible sight. Made me feel really odd being there whilst he did it.
 
Any porn footage that involves somebody being shat on or even eating shit.
That sort of thing has me gagging instantly.
 
I started thinking about the worst things I've seen and realised its a dark place and I didn't want to dwell on those things. Real life things are unavoidable (often) but to go and seek them on the net and stuff is just unhealthy and damaging. I can't see what good could come of it, so all it can be providing your brain with is dark stuff and theres no need for that. Real lifes got enough of the macabre in it.

So true . Real life always madder than Fiction or Dark web sites.
Like you i can't see what good could possibly come from watching that shit unless you are ill.
Not like the Flu i mean like Sociopathic
 
Hehe. I'm sure it was the somewhat School of Hard Knocks life that drew me in to that kinda stuff. Am not a sociopath (:sus: but we they all say that :sus:) but was very depressed and damaged for very many years. The more dark and depressing things I filled my head with the better it made me feel. Think this is fairly common really. Odd to those who don't cope in such ways but pretty standard stuff really.
 
Seeking out these morbid things on the net is just another form of rubber-necking. It's a basic human instinct. I absolutely wish that I had not seen some of the things that I have - but alas, what is done, cannot be altered. Though I certainly won't be watching any other 'disturbing' videos on the net. I guess my curiosity did me one favour and prevented me any further trauma in that sense.
