whos on your mind when you masturbate?

@ rangrz

I was feeling a bit defensive as I do think DJs are very talented and I didn't like that you insulted them. Some DJs suck but, the ones that I like, are very talented. Also - it makes sense to be more attracted to someone who shares interests with you.

Perhaps (not saying this is true) people find DJs more attractive than a Noble Prize Winner because they actually see the DJ regularly. I can't think of a picture of any Noble Prize Winners. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe most of them are older(ish). I'm more attracted to guys that are early 20s to early 30s. I'm presuming that people who have been doing research for years are older than that? Not saying all of them. But a 70 year old who just won the Noble Prize probably wouldn't do it for me, since I'm only 22 and not into much older guys.

I personally have always wondered why many people are attracted to athletes. Many athletes are not really "my type". But it's all really personal opinion.

I think that's the key. rangrz, I would be just as attracted to a hot Nobel Prize in Literature winner as I would be to a hot guitarist because both are extremely important to me. Less so to a hot scientist just because, to make things simple, I'm not particularly interested in science.

for me its always my s/o and recalling amazing carnal and passionate sex weve shared.

hes the sexiest man alive imo, and simply thinking of him and what we share turns me on like nothing else.

Yeah, I feel that for sure, but maybe not to the same magnitude as what I observe in a lot of people, particularly females. (A lot of my guy friends are more like myself on this.) I'd find a hot female scientist hotter than a hot female artist or writer or business person, but I'd still find a artist/writer/business person who is at the top of their game/the best of the best to an extremely hot attribute.

Maybe it's more of a generic sapiosexual trait? Like, intelligence and skill in the abstract/regardless of the particular discipline, is very arousing to me. I'd find a scientist/math person/artillery officer/etc hotter but mainly for the secondary reason of being able to circle-jerk with them about their area of expertise to a deeper extent than I could with someone who is an expert in a field which I have little background in.

On that note, I'm particularly fond of girls in physics/closely related like cosmology or engineering or geology/geophysics, biomedical/life science, certain disciplines of math (but tbh not really into pure mathematicians or applied statistics cause IDGAF about most of that.) But although I find chemistry and cognitive science and computer science or anthropology pretty interesting and neat, I don't have that much back ground in it and they're about on par with an artist or a writer of equivalent skill/talent for me. Since in these cases I'm about on equal footing in my back-ground relevant to the discipline and I can circle-jerk with a D.J. about as well as I can with an anthropologist.

From that, I'm still curious why to a person with no particular background in say playing a given instrument or being an actor, why would the actor or musician be hotter than a similarly well respected scientist or business person or politician? (Abstracting away the $$ aspect of different incomes...like a one time hook up where it's irrelevant.)

So are you wondering why someone, who has nothing to do with music, would find a DJ more attractive than a high level scientist?
(just wanting to make sure I go the question right)

I don't think they would. If you're walking down the street, and you see an attractive person, you may "guess" what job they have but you don't really know what it is. If they are good looking - you don't know if they are a musician or a politician or what they are.

Or maybe it is because a DJ (or actor, musician, etc.) seems like a more "fun" job than a scientist, politician, etc. Just throwing it out there, I'm not sure if it has any basis of truth. But people general like to have fun, so they'd want to date or sleep with someone who was also fun, and a DJ may seem more fun than a scientist.

Yeah, you had the question right. I've just kind of noticed it, not when walking down the street, cause as you say, you can't tell. (But I've pointed it out to people when they find some particular job hot and I have a picture of someone who does that job just looking normal or see one IRL... i.e. Ms.G finds my job (operator/spook/tactical team) very hot. So if I see someone I know who is one in his/her civi's or perhaps someone who looks like one but is not (Say a P.M.C. blackwater type, or a civilian police SWAT or an airsofter) I'll be like "hey look" and she'll be like "mmmmm omg!" and then I'll tell her "lolol, that's a high-school airsoft whacker!".

As for the fun thing, I see what your saying there. But I don't think it has any basis in truth or else a lot of people don't realize that acting is not as fun as they might imagine and that science or politics or jumping out of helicopters might actually be pretty fun and the people who do it might be pretty cool in reality. Yesterday, we had a date with the same purple haired bi girl sub I've mentioned, and her ex-bf came cause we all wanna play together. He's, like me, a physics student. He shows up riding a motorcycle (I ride one too) dressed pretty swagging, high on 4/20, has a joint to blaze with us, etc. He competed in sailboat racing around the world and is all in all a great circle-jerker and a pretty dope guy. The image a girl gets of "Physicist" is more like that of Sheldon on Big Bang Theory, and not someone like myself or this fellow, even though in reality, most of the physicists I know (Which is a lot of them, and in any event far more than the average number of 0 that most people know) are closer to being like myself or this guy than to being Sheldon. Ditto with one of Ms.G's immunology prof's. The guy fucking lulzy, dresses sharp, brings Scotch to the lab/study, and is actually pretty hot. My friend Jeff is a neurosurgical resident (Grad from an M.D./Ph.D joint program, so also did research science). He's so win...funny as fuck, driving around in a Maserati Quattroporte blasting dubstep, dope condo downtown, doing lines of coke constantly (not always a good thing, but inline with the idea of rockstar or DJ) , partying, he's super fun to hang out with and always cheers everyone around him up. He's hot too.

Same thing with business people I think. They're usually pretty cool and down.

@bagochina: I do...why? She's like the exact sort of aesthetic I like, she's awesome in bed and she's cool as fuck. I can't really think of anyone who'd I rather bang out with. There are some people who are closely matched, but no one I can think that I'd pick over her... at most, I'd want to add one or two of them in, and those girls are people who've I've dated before or I know. Don't really fantasize about randoms cause I don't really get into someone unless I know they're fucking dope/smart/cool too, hotness is not enough to make me wanna bang someone.

Probably mentally superimposing the faces of girls I would like to currently date over porn stars that look somewhat similar to them.

I think about different women Ive had sex with. Often times one night stands or long gone exes. I hate to jack off thinking about a girl I recently dated, it dont work. I always use porn too. It just helps me imagine the feeling of intercourse to think of actual sex. I kinda imagine different orrifices and then combine exes with women on porn. And you know how different pussies feel different I kinda make up for that by thining of a pussy like the one of the girl in the porno matched up with one like hers from a woman I fucked. What really gets me going is like those one time random fucks, cuz it has its own uniqueness.

Who the fuck thinks about their s/o when masturbating!? Weird or lying?

Yeah, really! At least for guys, it's about variety. You're not getting any variety if you're jerking off to the person you've already got sex-on-tap with. ;)

Yeah, I'm really not sure that's particularly true. I mean you can already see it just by comparing llama and me - she finds DJs particularly attractive because she's into DJ'ing, while I don't, at all. I wouldn't be more attracted to a DJ because of his job than I would be to a physicist or whatever. I'm more attracted to guitarists because that's what I'm into, so I'm more impressed by them/have more respect for them etc.
I think the only reason so many people have that one actor they're always talking about or whatever is simply because they're persona we all know (pretty sure everyone watches films, we don't all keep up with the most recent scientific discovery or literary achievement) and a lot of them have to take particular care of their appearance for their job. So regardless of what they do, they're just often really hot.
That's really the way I see it anyway.
