Whats the current speculation on how this will all end up? I mean, are people still buying bitcoins, or are people going nuts selling them?
 
I think it'll drop to £30 and hover round there for the next boom. and crash.

Fuck I saw someone put 60k in then they were 166 a coin. Lost within 3 hours.

This needs to stabalise before I go near this. My money is too valuable to me to loose in an instant.

I can buy powerful stimulants if I want, MDPV etc. for next to nothing. Cannabinoids too. Very cheap and economical. Unless I want to buy a gun or hire an assassin I'm in no rush tbh.

So what are the thoughts about this becoming a global economy and being picked up by the major online retailers? Is it too early to speculate if this will become the only way to purchase goods or services on the internet?

A few years down the road will I be paying my BT bill using direct debit using bitcoins?

Well, it's hardly a currency anymore is it. Except for buying drugs, people want it to make money on.

Perhaps that scared loads off and there won't be another boom, I don't know.

Doubt this will happen, it's got a fair association with drugs from what I've seen in the media. It doesn't seem to be for much else or off-shore hosting, etc. Although I'm sure there are some people who didn't cash out in time and the crash was for some specific reason. It'll probably take a few shaky days then balance out but hard to tell at what point as some other group/person can do the same thing or even cash out if it even gets to half of last time not wanting to risk losing again.
 
it does seem to be pretty much used for grey area / blackmarket stuff, I recon the secondary purpose of it is just to game the system and make a lot of money out of it wether its clever investment or deliberately manipulating the value. There's so much money involved in it now it's obviously attracting serious players and the huge spike in the last couple of weeks followed by the plummet back down in the last couple of days looks very very dodgy :)

insider trading ? anyone know anything abt de\lling/seeling bit coins wwithout getting your hands bitten off by sharks ?
 
drugs are the number one reason bitcoins are even relevant right now and once drugs make their way into other coins people will realize bitcoins are just a name and code, not some precious commodity.

But to act like they arent "real" is false as well because you can purchase real things with them.
 
yeah had a stressfull afternoon jan, and my fingers cant keep up with the stims. I was walking down Wythenshawe High street thiis afternoon like a madman booting and chucking street furnture. (oh how big and clever of me, bet you all wish you could be as hard as me and do that :\) Surprised i didnt get beaten up tbh. Maybe my angry face maikes pppl leave me alone. Unless i meet someone simillar coming the other way. WTF am i on abt sorry. That not my usual behaviour anyway. Only when im very angry, which is very rare in itself.. Thats my excuse.

It seems i stupidly told the CAB i had savings when i first left work due to being on the verge of cracking up. I'll have to ask them aboout confidentiality. Ofcourse i was away with the fairies even more than normal at that time, and my statemnetnst were those of a madman, not to be taken seriously.

Ive just taken the plunge, im trying a sell a $7 BC for £97. I'll look on it as loosing £7 not £97 if it fucks up, or i get suckered.

Dont wanat to tempt the fate of the Gods so im not saying anything else. But. Prayers.all.answered,maybe, to, are....

OH GOD i want to sell NOw, BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT, MY £250 IS NOW ALMOST WORTH £5,000.

Any1 knowledgable, trustworthy, and ideally known to me online, I havent met any1 in person, willing to help me transfer BCs into money in the bank? all your time, knowledge, expertise will be generously re-imbursed.


As far as ive understood so far its a closed and locked in currency ? Not really what i need.

LEA, im not gonna be spending this on a mound of drugs like Pacino in Scarface, i need the money to live. No job, no income, no benefits. Thankyou Mr Cameron. The state truely sucks arse as our american cousins say, dont they ?

You should be able to sell your coin on an exchange. The bank won't buy it off you. Find something that looks half reliable and WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE MONEY IN THE BANK before transferring your BC.

FWIW I think making 13x your investment is an incredible achievement and you shouldn't consider any rise in value as a loss in your pocket. It's difficult to pick a good time to sell, but a profit is good, especially as anyone trying to get involved in bitcoin now will only lose money in the long run.

Sell it and treat yourself to a free present.

But cheers, all i can find are dvds or Morrocan @ places that accept bitcoin. Something like a TOP range sony tv would do.

The money is already in my intersango. The only way to get it out appears to be to buy stuff.
 
Who cares if it was by chance. I can't think of any other stock which has risen 1300% in a year or two. You sir are a winner, enjoy it.

Go to localbitcoins.com

You can either set up a sellers account and people will offer to buy bitcoins off you, thats if youve priced them right.

Or people will come and meet you with the cash and you send them the coins.

its all in escrow so its hard to get fucked really, its what ive been using anyway,
 
You know I know fuck all about this but this place says there is an "ocean of buyers". probably bullshit but I just want to check that you've googled "sell bitcoins" :D

ninja'd by someone who knows what they're talking about.
