Gabapentin/alprazolam tolerance

Ok, so today I've taken 4 grams of gabapentin (not my highest I've ever taken) and 5 mgs of alprazolam. I feel nothing. I did all but 2 mgs of alprazolam sublingual. The other 2 I chewed and swallowed.
Is my tolerance that high? Could I be messed up and not know it? I miss the relaxed feeling I use to get.
How long of a break would I have to take to bring my tolerance down?
I also took 400 mgs blue lotus and 1 gram of Kenna.
Yeah, I was desperate for a feel good day.
Any ideas? I only have 1 mg of alprazolam left & pretty much unlimited gabapentin.

Your tolerance certainly sounds high. Yes, GABAergics are notorious for inducing a state in which people don't think they're intoxicated but are stumbling or overtly displaying other kinds of intoxication. The GABA neurons usually take a very long time to return to baseline after chronic use, see PAWS reports of benzodiazepine users. Its likely that you won't be able to be intoxicated. Why not use your medication as-prescribed? There are far safer drugs to use than GABAergics if you're looking to fucked up.
 
They will potentiate each other, they do not share cross tolerance though (at least not from personal experience).

Do you take these pills everyday? If so you might be intoxicated without really noticing it, it's harder to notice the effects if you are used to having them all the time.

To me however, this would not be a "good day" automatically, I find benzos and gabapentin to not really be euphoric, but rather relaxing and anxiolytic. There is not much euphoria to be found in these drugs, at least not for me.

I remember you posting a few weeks/Month or so ago about being off Benzos for several Months, and then starting them back up and you still needing many mg to feel any good. I can't speak from experience with regards to Gabapentin but for me with Benzos even though my abuse was disproportionally high compared to most, I did notice a very slight drop in tolerance after a 3 Month break after 3 & 1/2 years of abuse. However after the first few times (Using 50 - 100mg Diazepam) my tolerance reset to the pre abuse levels and it became pointless me using Benzos, which was really a blessing in disguise as it has reminded me not to go back to how I used to be.

My guess is that you have a tolerance to the Alprazolam.

I get drug tested randomly bc of probation so I gotta stick with scripts. But I get off Monday! Yay!

Lately the alprazolam has been everyday but not the gaba. I try not to use that daily bc of these tolerance issues.

It's only a good day for me bc I don't feel on the brink of a nervous breakdown or severe panic attack. Not feelin those ways is euphoric for me :)

Pally, you're correct. I was taken off benzos in Aug 2012 & just started them again in March this year. First time or two was nice, relaxing. Now my tolerance is ridiculous. I can take up to 20 mgs alprazolam, 10 bars, & still appear normal to anyone. Might not remember everything but I don't black out or do dumb shit. Not dick sizing but I believe something or someone is tellin me it's time to move on.
 
xanax is very bland for me. even if i combine it with opiates, alcohol, weed, ect.. (NOT SAFE!!), xanax still feels boring and dull. xanax is more of a cock tease...

the only benzos that i find even remotely recreational are valium and temazepam. do NOT start increasing your dose and abusing your xanax!! the buzz - warm fuzzy feeling - goes away very quickly with daily use, but the anxiolysis stays consistent as long as you dont increase your dose and take breaks...

this is a little contradictive, but try taking the xanax for what is prescribed for, NOT to feel high or good or to feel anything BESIDES anxiety relief..
 
I was huge into gaba. For a high, at 4000mg take a 2-3 break before dosing again. The longer you wait, the better it will be. Though give it a minium of 24 hours.
