Psychedelic experiences with MDMA

Hi!

I'm not sure if this belongs to psychedelics or ecstasy discussion so I'll post it here.

So I'm wondering if you ever had psychedelic experiences, hallucinations purely on MDMA, or MDMA+weed. I've had a few minor hallucinations myself, last time at this party there where these paintings that glow in blacklight and they were strapped on "barrels" hanging form the ceiling. Like this: http://postimg.org/image/5rw7mq7jl They were slowly rotating and as I looked at them, for a split second I saw a giant human hand turning one of them. Also with closed eyes I saw fractals for about 10-20 seconds. Also I'm not sure this can be qualified as a psychedelic experience but after the party, before I went to sleep I was smoking some weed and lay in bed and my imagination was almost perfect, I mean what I imagined I could see very clearly with closed eyes, and the images came very random, almost trip like. :)

If you have had any experiences similar to mine, please share it with me :)

Since you're asking about having hallucinations on MDMA specifically, i think that ED is the place for this one.

High dose MDMA is known to cause halusenations. this is mostly due to a portion of that MDMA being converted to MDA by the body before being metabolized.
 
i had a quite a few experiences on ket + mdma but most memorable was smoking weed while peaking on mdma at the smoke pit of a rave. we walked downstairs into the basement where the rave is then the dj was spinning some hard dance track. holy shit! it was like walking into (my) heaven, the walls were bouncing back and forth, all the lights were strobing off the walls and overall it was pretty intense!!
 
I have had significant hallucinations on MDA and MDA + MDMA together. MDA was my preferred methylenedioxy derivative, in fact!

its strange, it seems like youre hallucinating on rolls and weed. you have like really vivid mental pictures. like with my eyes open i could see my normal ways of navigating with my insecurities and shit, it was like seeing an image of how ecstasy was effecting me
 
U cant hallucinate only on MDMA. U dont get "REAL" hallucination on MDMA only.

But yes..I got them with weed, slideshow, FPS DROP IRL :) Because i dont smoke weed, i was really fucked when i did smoke it.

I would love to get my hands on some MDA but unfortunately its nearly impossible in my area :( Do you think mixing a small amount of amphetamines with MDMA could result in an MDA like experience?

I've had mild hallucinations on both MDMA and MDA alone. MDMA when I've taken a hell of a lot, I get that "everyones wearing glasses" thing where the strobe hits people and it sort of wraps around peoples faces to make wire frame glasses. Proper weird. The best I've had is with MDA and Ket, that was pretty amazing.

It's well documentated and more than possible :) You are not alone !
 
The only substance it had me hallucinating was a mdma + amphetamine bomb called Pink Hearts, and of course my holly weed contributed a lot..
I remember seeing people who was not there, and many other "things" that did not exist, I had to watch twice every time I saw something ... such a great trip...

MDMA causes vivid hallucinations mixed with strong sativa strains like skunk 1 that's for sure

You can hallucinate on only mdma though. One night i mistakenly took 4 and a half caps which probably equaled around 700-800 milligrams. I was seeing some crazy stuff. I saw an old lady walking a dog which ended up a recycling bin, then two guys fighting which was a tree and even little people fighting with street lights like they were light sabers. I even saw cop cars with their lights on behind us and low and behold no cars on the road at 5 in the morning. I'm curious if anyone knows after what amount of mdma you take does it get metabolized into mda. I've seen people say 400 mgs but I'd like to see if there's any different answers.

After heavy rolls where I take a lot of MDMA, I get very realistic CEV's that resemble anything I'm thinking of.

I think the MDMA > MDA = hallucinations is a bit of a myth. IIRC, only about 7% of MDMA gets metabolized into MDA (http://www.erowid.org/references/refs_view.php?ID=79), so you'd need a huge dose to get any of the psychedelic effects of MDA. I thought hallucinations occured becaused MDMA works on receptors that can cause hallucinations such as 5HT1a, 5HT1b etc, just like LSD does. Only experienced them once I think and I'm still questionning whether the things happenned or not, I just don't know. I do know that bins looked like police officers, but I was getting a bit anxious so that probably didn't help.
 
I hallucinate on heavy doses, but I've also heavily abused LSD and I think the two may be linked as the visuals are similar to low dose acid trips.

Another thing, If I really overdo it I get audio hallucinations 48 later that are bat shit crazy (people jumping on the bed next to me, running up the stairs).

MDA visuals are a different beast, cartoon visual CEVs and people you know morphing into strangers looking at you like you're an idiot.

It was about 300mgs of MDMA from which I got some hallucinations. If I'm correct that means if 7%is metabolized thats 63mgs of MDA, so its a relatively large dose.
