The Big & Dandy DOC Thread (Part 2)

To differentiate from LSD blotters? I don't know, certainly not because it doesn't fit on there as at least 30mgs will dissolve in a single ml of ethanol. It's the same, or even better than that, for DOC

Who knows? There are various ways of checking, but the easiest way is to check how much water your paper holds by applying water with a tiny syringe. I assume you're using watercolor paper?

p.s You're asking way too many questions to be laying blotter, if I were you I'd just make sugar cubes or gummy bears or whatever. Laying blotter properly is very hard, and you'll probably end up with an uneven sheet which is very bad news with the DOx chemicals.

How would you dose gummy bears like inject with a syringe? and id be using commercially available "blotter art"

And i though it was as simply as finding out how much liquid the paper will hold making a solution with that amount and your chem and pour it into a pyrex dish and soaking the sheet correct my if im wrong

thats pretty much it, but finding out exactly how much liquid your paper will hold isn't necessarily an easy task

Id probably do it with an oral syringe a ml at a time until it doesnt absorb anymore but doesnt the presence of a chem affect how much of the solution itd absorb?

A tiny bit, but not by much no. Gummy bears are way easier, you just drop your dose on there and let it dry. I'd go for a solution of 20mg/ml, so that 0.05ml will make up 1mg. That way you can fit about 2mg on a bear and your doses won't be too high. If you want to take more, take more gummy bears

If you had a few in a bag couldnt some of it rub of or does the bear kinda melt and dry with it in the gummy material

^^ in what container, and how do you measure it?

p.s. i could lay a blotter sheet, i'm just trying to make that sirtripsalot420 guy think =p

is DOC a full agonist or partial agonist? I hear lots of conflicting reports,

wikipedia says its a partial but i hear some people say its a full idk

i know DOI is a fll

I had my first experience with DOC this weekend. 2mg with a 1mg boost at 2 hours. I peaked at 4-5 hours and was asleep with the help of 1mg Xanax at 12 hours. It wasn't visual apart from heightened colours and I felt fine the next day.

It wasn't really a high enough dose to judge the unique effects of the compound. I will do 4-5mg next time.

I had my first DOC experience on Saturday. 1mg in the morning gave me stimulation for around 26 hours and only a +1 experience.

While I imagine DOC could be a great experience, it seems to effect me too strongly. Maybe I will pick up some benzos if I ever try it again.

It's very hard in literature to find the cutoff because serotonin itself is often not listed to compare affinities. The R-isomers and even the racemates of both DOB and DOI are considered full agonists, but I find it hard to dig up anything conclusive on DOC. Since its affinity is relatively close to that of DOB, I would bet that at least (R)-DOC is a full agonist.

Not sure if it matters that much though, the cutoff line determines what to call it but a compound with 99% the Ki or Kd of serotonin is technically a partial agonist but superclose to a full agonist.

Ki is only a measure of affinity though? For example, LSD is highly potent and has a very low Ki (lower = more potent) but it is only a partial agonist.

25I NBOMe has a higher Ki but is a ~full agonist.

I guess that is true but I could not see EC50 or other intrinsic activity values in the references I checked on psychedelic amphetamines, so yes maybe that last remark was off but the part about DOC probably having an efficacy that is close to that of DOB and DOI still stands, doesn't it? And also about the cutoff line, since it is a spectrum more than a discreet categorization.

Right?

So sometime this week I should be receiving some DOC. I have a fair bit of experience with LSD, mushrooms, and 2c-e, but I've never tried this or any other DOx compound. I'm planning on a starting dose of 2.4mg--it's coming to me in doses that size, so it seems easiest, and I think I'm prepared to handle quite an intense experience should that dose provide one (plus I'll have a trip sitter de facto, since I live with my boyfriend). I have just a couple questions:

1. I don't have any existing psych tolerance, but I do take Adderall on a daily basis (by prescription). Is this likely to affect the intensity of my experience? Should I consider adjusting my dose at all with this in mind?

2. I've found psychedelics, especially LSD, to be quite therapeutically helpful sometimes. For example, I got over my phobia of dentists by dropping acid after a dentist appointment. I have some things in my life right now that could use that kind of treatment (nothing traumatizing or likely to cause a bad trip), so I was wondering how much therapeutic value people have found in DOC. Also, is it typically a clear-headed/controllable enough trip that I could work on issues intentionally, or would I have to let it happen organically? (This question especially is probably a ymmv/judgement call situation.)

1. DOC is a substituted amphetamine. I haven't read anything about combining doc with uppers but I'd worry whether the adderall might increase DOC's side effects like vasoconstriction. Somebody with more knowledge should give advice on this

2. For me, DOC isn't very pushy (in the head) and I can work with the trip as I please. You can pretty much do what you want with it. I try not to go into trips with expectations nowadays though because things turn out better that way.
