I used to smoke them. Cut off a little square,, peel off the plastic and then put it sticky side down on some tin foil. Then make a tube out of foil to smoke through, put it in your mouth, hold over little square of fent and heat from underneath the foil until it's smoked. Not healthy at all, but works.

Ive stopped trying to abuse them in any way now after coming to the conclusion that it just wasnt worth i. Once uve got to the point of having a full 100mcg patch stuck to the inside of ur mouth you realise it just isnt worth it. May as well just wear the bastards as prescribed. Maybee add a heat pack if the pain gets too bad. But smoke the plastic patches? Fuck that!! Kudos for your dedication to getting fucked up tho mate.

If you read my post I said you peel the plastic off, then if you want to be extra careful you get a sharp razorblade and scrape the sticky bit off and that sticky bit your left with is a ball of fent.

Your saying that you scrape away the adhesive (containing the fent) and smoke that? Appologiesbi misunderstood. Still sounds rough Yuo.bits a piece of piss to extractw the fent with ethanol or isopropal alcohol too if ur so inclined. Do u still do them now mate

yeah Sandoz are the best by miles thin n don't come off so easily,they contain 17mg compared to 10 for the duragesic both 75mcg hr matrifen are cheapest shit available my doc advised me against trying them,there is one type left in uk with gel,google and youll see oval shaped and flesh coloured but I got a different doc and realised he had scripted me matrifen too late I was on way home I took off Sandoz and stuck it on within 24hr I was throwing up in full wd I reckon a paracetamol would have done more Sandoz every time by my recommendation!

I think this is all cool, but I also need to say, to anyone thinking of smoking fentanyl, BE VERY SURE WHAT YOU'RE DOING. It's not recommended to smoke, but many people do. if you're going to make sure you've taken as many precautions as possible and make sure you dont just bong the whole patch.

Yeah the matrifen are complete shit. Not svvure what type of durogesic ur refering to? The Jansen Ciaag Durogesic Dtrans plastic matrix patch contain 16.8mg of fentanyl in a 100mcg per hour patch. I believe the old durogesic reservoir patches however contained only10 mg. Per 100mcg/hr patch and the matrifen contain 11mcg plus a type of membrane to allow the total fent load to be lower and yet still deliver 100mcg per hour (allegedly however most have been found wanting in practice). I have been moved up to 150 per hour and have got a stock of th dtrans patch. at home.but my gp.will let me try a couplenof.patches of.different brands until I find the right kind for me. I think I might ask for some of these sandoz omes although I kust adkitvivthouggt these were only availahpe in the USA. Also I recomend getting some large sizw tagaderm plastic dressingsvto keep thebpatches in place. They work amazingly well. Wish id discovered them ages ago..... Would have saved me throwing away many a half worm patch still loaded with fent. What a terrible waste. What kind of doseages were others on btw

Also Sandoz much thinner than plastic d trans which used to peel at the edges with movement Sandoz I had to ask chemist to order which he got next day for me def worth a try best patch I ever used matrifen are a disgrace!

Yes, as I also said, it's not very healthy. I didn't do it often, only when I couldn't get oxy or gear. I don't do it anymore as I have better connections for oxy and gear now, even though I try to do them as little as possible. Saying that, did half a teenth (0.8g) of gear yesterday and bought 4 x 60mg oxys today, so not doing well on cutting down. But back when i was even worse sometimes I just peeled the plastic off and stuck on the other bit and smoked, but scraping it off is definitely better for you. And that idea of extracting it afterwards never occurred to me, that would be really good, but would have to be able to accurately measure out doses afterwards, which I wouldn't know how to do as dose are so small.

Yes, well said. I used to cut off a square around 1cm squared of a 100ug dtrans patch (other brands of patches don't seem to smoke properly) but that was with a medium opiate tolerance, as I hadn't got properly into heroin, was mainly using oxy, so maybe smaller sized squares should be tried if anyone is going to try to smoke it. Small doses to start with are essential, as it seemed to have the highest CNS depression out of all the opiates I've tried, as breathing was really shallow at times and I'm sure I came close to overdosing at times, so like most strong opiates use with caution.

Matrifen smoke fine. Never sampled any other brands to compare it with, mind. But from reading this thread it appears you'd probably be better off smoking 'em than trying to use 'em as directed :D

Pee Ess: That's "smoke fine" as far as smoking lil bits of strong opiate-coated plastic goes anyway. I wouldn't make a habit of it. Probably not too healthy. Buccal worked fine too but less of an instahit than smoking so mostly stick to smoking when I get 'em.

Cheers Chris and shambles for your experiences. My own problem os that ive been on very high dose opiates prescribed for years and have a rediclous tollorence. Takijg about extracting and shooting several GRAMS of morphine and day and 30-40 oxy 80s a day. I know its not big or clever aand I need these meds for pain so running out led to huge pain as well as fucking horrendous wds. Anyway I got on methadone for 8 years and brought my doseage down to aronds 200 from a high of around 400mg. Methadone at that dose is a fucking awsome analgesic btw. Am now on fent patch titrating dose upward. Currently 150mcg but probably.settle around 200mcg/Hr. Finally found an opiate that I can use (largely) as intended and not burn through an entire 2months supply in like 10days lol!!. Chris - I know people will wring their hands at me mentioning this but there is a fucking 7 page thread about extracting plastic matrix patches so fuck it..... People just dump the patch in half a litre of vodca over night and then evaporate the alcohol in the morning and like 90%of the fejt is extracted. IPA works even better at 100% but its hard to get in the uk for some reason. Infsct when janson ciiag were making the gel patches they funded a study to show that plastic patches were even easier to abuse. Ill try to fin the link and they showed that white spirirts eg decent vodka or Bacardi will extract almost all the fent without heat or agitation or anything. Feel obliged to point out that on a danger scale of 1-10 this is a 12. I know im preaching to the choir but fent is the strongest opiate available and doing a gram of fent is like 10th a KILO YES A FUCKING 10TH A KILO of pure morphine being that its 100times stronger so please be careful. Jever tried smoking it or iving cos it scares me and with fent the resp depression often kicks in before the buzz so ur dead before u know whats happened. Bearing mind I would often extract and shootl 800 of morphine at once and then do it againba few hours later fent scares the fuck out of me. Remember a few years back when those chechian terrorists took those Russian kids hostage in their school AMD the ruskies pumpeed in gas to imobilise everyone and ended up killing most of them? That. Kolokol gas aks 3-methyl fentanyl which is a potent fent analogue and a good guide to what sort of gesr this is. Buyer beware as they say!!!!

Saw my gp Monday and got some.dtrans, some sandoz matrix and some sandoz gel to try. Must admit I dont see what the fuss is about with the gel patches tho. Tried smoking some geloff tin foil but wasnt that good although only did a little bit. Prefer using then buccaly with the matrix ones. However im out for an iIndian meal with my new girlfriend tonight and if I dont end up getting aything tonight with her might try smoking some more gel when I get back home. Rather have sex but what can u do! Ha ha!!

Never tried gel ones before, so if you do try smoking it be careful with the dosage, but it seems like with your tolerance you should be fine. Maybe try smoking a slightly larger dose next time and you might feel the effects that way. It's a very intense, but short lived high and makes me real itchy.
And as for the putting the patches in vodka or IPA or whatever it was, then evaporating it to get the pure form, I have no chemistry knowledge really so I can't tell you if it's dangerous that way, the only reason I didn't do something like that or any extraction, is I wouldn't have the scales accurate enough to measure out a dose of pure fentanyl or know how to store it properly, plus the more important thing, nearly every time I've done fentanyl I've been in opiate withdrawals, so I can't wait around for a day to get high, I need it straight away, cos I only use fentanyl when I can't get heroin or oxycontin as it's so expensive for how long it lasts.

Fent extractions are very much blacklisted at Chez Sham. I do/have done mucho stoooopid shit but extracting fent from patches then trying to dose the resulting goo is not ever gonna be amonst it. Healthwise you're better off inhaling plastic fumes smoking lil bits you snip offa patch. Carefully. Buccal is bad enough in the absence of accurate opiate equivalences.

All that aside, fent is fairly shit as a "recreational" opiate. Imo, im(limited)e, etc, etc. Way too uppydowny. And feels a bit iffy on the breath suppression side for my taste. It feels nice (smoked) for a few minutes. But not all that nice compared to better opies. The fetishisation of fent is rediculous. Is up there with the fetishisation of morphine as godly analegesic amongst medicunts in terms of ridiculousness. In both cases the fetish vastly outweighs the reality.

As I said I'd never do that anyway, as I'm always in a rush to get it into my system as fast as possible. And take it easy with all those CNS depressants, fentanyl seems to slow down breathing a lot compared to other opiates.

Hm, maybe not directly related to fentanyl, but anyone know what is the best position to sleep in when there's risk of vomiting in your sleep? Better to sleep on your side or on your back? Hope your curry stays down.
