But I would like to add some more facts, like:

20% of guys have sex with 80% sexually active girls (in young ages high school / collage) so we need to look at situation a bit wider...

The hypothesis presented by LaVoix et al is inconsistent from the empirical observations of the author in all of the author's LTRs and FWB relationships with females that the author has had.
 
I'm from the United States, and my girlfriend messaged me one day on facebook saying that we don't know each other but we should change that. As lame as facebook is, that was pretty sweet.

So yeah stop hanging out with dumb girls. There is a big difference between the dumb girls and all the other awesome girls in this world.
 
As an on-off birdwatcher, I can tell you that watching birds--I mean, really watching them and noting their behavior--will tell you absolutely everything you need to know about human courtship and sexual relationships. Males fight, shriek all night and day, and puff themselves up; females pick the best one. Rinse, repeat.

I've had girls 'fight' over me and seen them.do it over guys too.

I think it depends on the subset of girls you pick. Smart girls who are not that traditionally feminine (behavior wise I mean not looks per se) seem much more inclined to do so. Actually, they're generally way more awesome all around.

Well, I do have a "fully booked" lifestyle and a large circle of friends and I talk to strangers every single place I go. It makes life way more interesting, and often leads to my social circle widening. I am a female.

Just last week I was at a bar and the guys I was with we're laughing and shaking their heads because they said within five minutes I had chatted up and made friends with every hot girl at the bar. I was trying people's drinks and letting them try mine. I am naturally friendly, though, and truly interested in talking to people for the sake of human interaction. I have no desire whatsoever to use them for any purpose.

I think your premise seems flawed....I know plenty of women, including myself, who take charge of their sexual lives and have no trouble going up to men and starting conversations.

Yeah, pretty much. I'd actually the majority of girls I've dated or been FWB with have approached me first and pushed it in the sexual or romantic direction. My S/O, well when we first met 5 years ago, I was on duty and in the street in uniform. She came and approached me and insisted I let her buy me a Starbucks. 5 years later, she asked me to marry her. The people before her? FWB- approached me and at got me drunk at a engineering and physical science conference. LTR with 2 girls at once (into each other and me) approached me at university, insisted I come "study" with them, went from there. LTR with an anon? Approached me while protesting Scientology in the bitter winter while I was wearing a pair of panties as a mask. Other FWB- approached me at work.

etc etc...

Unifying feature of all of these girls tho? They are all very smart, non-traditional and eccentric. If you stop looking for a 1950s house-wife type girl, and want a smart, dope ass person, the kind that take initiative, treat women as people first and give them the respect due to them as equals. Then you'll find these kind of girls.

to understand why a man should devote energy to courting a woman is to know the evolutionary history of the human race. its buried into the species genes quite deep, a mere 4 millennium of civilization are hardly going to end the deeper behavioral patterns that are traced back for hundreds of thousands of years.

really, why? you have to ask why?! cuz everybody be tryin to get up in that. tha fuck makes you special, punk? what can you show that shows you might be worth fucking?
