Melatonin

Hey there so I have been stalking the bluelight forms for about 6 months now and just want to say first of all, I love this form and all it's information, thanks to everyone who shares!

Now for my question! Has anyone ever tried melatonin as a sleep aide after a night of taking MDMA? I love my sleep and with it now being festival season I don't want to exhaust myself from not getting sleep and raging for 2-3 days straight. I'm not really a fan of smoking to help me sleep since I don't really enjoy smoking in general. My friend recommended taking melatonin, sayingg it's safe because the brain naturally creates it, but I don't think I've ever seen people on BL talk about using it when speaking about their pre/post loading vitamins and what not.

So anyone tried this or have any comments regarding melatonin and rolling? Thanks in advance :)
 
While I have no experience taking melatonin supplements the same evening as MDMA, I do know melatonin is available from natural sources such as walnuts and bananas which help induce sleep. I highly doubt there will be bad interactions eating walnuts and bananas after rolling.

I have had sleeping problems since my stint with MDMA and walnuts and bananas an hour or two before bed have been a great help.
 
i use melatonin if i'm feeling awake and need to get to sleep fairly quickly... especially if there's work early the next day. the ones i use come in 3mg pills. works like a charm every time, and i don't have problems falling asleep without taking it.

never actually thought to try it after a night of partying. usually i just have some alcohol
 
Melatonin is not really a proven sleep aid, there are better options to choose from. Not to mention taking real mdma, which shouldn't keep you awake more than 5-6 hours.

Why is melatonin not a proven sleep aid? It's never failed to knock me out when I've called upon it. It may not be a long term solution, but what sleeping aid is?

It usually takes me longer to fall asleep than others I'm with, even if we take the same dose, quality and often dropping at the same time ad well (I know tolerance and what not probably play a role here) so while it could be 5-6 hours for some people I've found I'm awake much longer, or have reduced quality of sleep, wking every hour once i do fall asleep until I finally decide I'll just get up.

Do you have a better idea to induce sleep? I'm obviously not looking to fall asleep right after dropping, I'm talking like once it hits 4/5 am and everyone else is asleep, it would be cool if I was able to sleep as well.
 
Try an herbal supplement with ingredients such as Valerian Root, Lemon balm, passionflowers, and/or humulus lupulus (hops). Swiss Natural has a good product that I always swear by.
