What do you drive?

atm, why a 4 x 4? are you in the sticks?

I live right up on the top of the chilterns on the very edge of town, I would say it's exactly in the sticks as I live on a housing estate but you really can't get out without 4X4 if it snows. I've had 4X4 for the last 6 years or so and I've grown to like it, if your not totally stupid you just can't get stuck even on the odd off road excursion but TBH the Land Rover is overkill, I've just always wanted to try one and even had some professional off road training.

When I could use 2 wheels for my commute at least half the time the fuel thing wasn't such a big problem, but I think it's time to wave goodbye to the Tank Rover now:D

Hence my recommendation for a semi 4x4 jacked up estate...

Its not really my bag either, but he did say 20k budget, possible 4x4 but not full on Range Rover, seems to fit the criteria for me

Yeah not keen on the A6 it does look pig ugly, I quite liked the A4 avant I had but it was way to small, like a kind of reverse Tardis.

I'm not a Range Rover fan, I'd rather have the Discovery but either are just way to heavy on fuel, might have to forgo the 4X4 in favour of a ludicrously fast diesel BM, I used to have a '89 525E auto a good few years ago beautiful straight 6 and handled like a boat:D

I'm feeling that, a nice 535d M Sport Sounds like just the ticket, I'd love one of those bad boys!

It must be good if a Portugese guy with a fucking mohawk owns one. That's what I always check before any major purchase "Do any dafties with comedy haircuts own one? They do? Excellent, I'll take two!"
