Purple weed....

Here is a technique for turning ANYTHING purple... Harvest your perfect plant whole.. Just chop her whole at the stem, carefull y bag her whole in your choice of bag, contractor or what ever you choose, place whole plant in a a fridge as soon as you take her, fridge temp should be close to 0C/32F but not at, 3C 0r 35F should work but experament for your selves.. periodicaly check your plant.. 12 to 24 hours should be enough for the same reaction that happens to plants in cold weather to happen.. I think once the plant is completely dead then the reaction that causes the purple collor stops, but you should check on this. Remove completely unharmed plant marvel at your new purple ----- (insert strain) and make sure that condensation from humidity in air doesn't soak your cold plant.. Process and cure as you normally do.. I recommend whole plant cure at this point. Enjoy your NEW PURPLE BUD..

I don't think its the best but it is very good, and it all depends on how it was grown cured and dried to. I personally think the best stuff ive ever had was a hybrid called sour diesel x afghan kush. I am a very big fan of sour diesel!!! %)

Purple weed is just weed with a nice purple colour :) it's either good weed or it isn't.

I don't think the purpleness brings any more psychoactivity to cannabis than anthocyanins do to blueberries. It does look nice though, and nice looks can make someone feel different because they anticipate a special, different effect. Set & setting.

I live in a secluded town and rarely have access to strains. Only know one that I finally got today, Grapefruit or something. It actually made me feel less tired and could go on nice forest walks, able to get off my bed unlike regular weed. Seems like everyone here knows a ton of different strains and has a favorite. Hopefully i get that experience some day!

Im sitting here smoking on some grand daddy purp....

Is this the best weed in the world or what??

GDP, and northern lights, are the best types ive ever tried....

Opinions????

I've been smoking GDP for the past week and just got Northern Lights today. These are the 2 best strains I've ever had for sure. Glad you have good taste :)

Purple weed seems to make me more tired than most other buds.. could be placebo though. I had some sour diesel recently that stunk my room up through a jar. Couldn't believe it

Good bud not entirely purple

purple bud has it's own sort of character.. it's got somewhat of a distinct fruity smell that i like.

honestly though, every purple strain i've had never impressed me all that much. i prefer some "normal" OG strains. :P

Some sativas go purple as well. That last pic is a hybrid that looks like a sativa when its grown in summer and has a clear up high. Pretty sure there can be purple seen in malawi, haze and even mullumbimby madness.

Even good old Skunk#1 will start to purple heavily if the temperature goes below 15ºC during the last weeks of flowering. I've seen it happen in weed grown inside, and grown outdoors.
That genetic trait probably comes from the Afghan side of the family. I've smoked purple weed from a few different strains, some left me more sleepy, others give off a long lasting buzz, there's no way of telling just by the color purple. Gotta smok'em all. Actually the same strain might give different effects, if given in different doses to the same person.

neversick, have you done this often? Have you ever followed this procedure and been unsuccessful at attaining a purple hue to your plants?

Too much of an indica for me. I prefer sativa strains. I actually much prefer AM-2201 over anything else lol.
