March staying clean thread

Just took a look back at parts of this month/thread.. Yeah it gave me a gargantuan smile and a dose of the goosebumps to see what people made it through and all the love that helped them do it.. Ha you guys are the shit!! (imagine that, the part of my brain that tried to make me use with so many nasty things including a case of goose bumps that sailed, like a pissed up pirate, all over my body for over four months, must have forgot itself and got all mushy emotional when it looked back at the amazing things that are recorded here, forgot what side you are on, or have you returned to my side my long abused LS=D).. Here is to the weekend, lets rip er up clean.. ha it finally looks like spring around here..<3

Happy Easter weekend to those who celebrate it! We are going to color eggs for the kids and cook a great big dinner. I was always relied upon to provide this feast....until last year when I got too messed up to cook, or to even show up. Had to use some lame illness excuse that everyone saw through anyway. This year I am actually looking forward to doing these things and staying sober. This is a lot less triggering than St Patrick's Day, and I got through that without beer.

Easter is celebrating spring for me as well. Even though it is supposed to rain here there are still signs...trees budding, flowers blooming, allergies getting ready to ramp up. I am ready for spring, winter always depresses me. Maybe just getting some more outside time will benefit me.

So have a great weekend everyone:)

neversickanymore- I am with you 100%! I'm so proud of everyone this month. This thread has been so encouraging. Seeing others going through similar things is such a comfort and makes me feel a bit better. We're all great people. This trend will carry over into the following months for sure <3

C- The slip up is okay. What matters is you're actively attempting to get clean. That in itself speaks volumes. Every day is a new day, a chance to be better than the great person you already are! I hope you have a happy weekend, too!

One more day of March! Happy Easter to all of you. I celebrated the solstice as I don't celebrate these kinda holidays.
 
Tomorrow makes two months...
Kinda scared I'm starting to replace opiates with Xanax though...

I do some stuuuuupid shit on Xanax too... -_-
 
Fifteen minutes after midnight here, so fuck you March, I nailed you! One month down. =D

I'll let some of you U.S. West Coasters catch up before we all move on to April but my clock's already ticking. Day one . . . .

I still got an hour and four minutes left of March. I'm pretty sure I can make it.
