Ok i want my previous thread deleted since i still have not got the answer to my question. Right now i am scripited 0.5 klonopin twice a week, which i don't take as prescribed and take 2mg of 3 times a week (4 pills, three times a week 4 pills= 2mg 3x times a week) I don't feel the anxiety relief aspect as good as xanax which my doctor will switch me, if i feel the klonopin isn't as helpful. If i use xanax 3 times a week at around 2mg each time, would it reduce chances of physical addiction since it's short life is a lot shorter? Taking klonopin only 3 times a week stays in your system longer, which can make it more likely to have discomfort (if any at all) However xanax is in and out the system faster and works better for me with anxiety and its effects DOES last the rest of the day for me, because i am not tolerant to it.
SO if you were to only take klonopin or xanax upto 3 times a week at around 2mg each time, which would you think would reduce the possibility of discomfort or minor withdrawal if any at all?
