It's Slim Shady Friday, y'all.

A friend of CS and mine in the pin business sent us some hash oil!!!!!

God damn I wish I had a proper skillet and all that jazz but we are gonna rig something up so we can do ghetto dabs tonight. I'll take pics!

...if i'm not too baked.

word!

There are decently priced oil rigs out here, probably would cost more out of this state.

I got a skillet and I love it. It's like my first born child. :D

yeah I know you dont see enough skillet and oil rigs on the east coast for sure. In Asheville, NC it is wayyy more popular, that is a far more chill city. But here in Wilmington where CS and I are the green is limited. A friend of ours in Asheville hooked us up with the oil, which turned out to be thick like wax. Its soooo nice! The buzz comes on very strong but its actually a rather simulating high. Great for while I'm working on pin designs and drawing.

I hope we start getting this shit more often!

:)

Yea I hope you all get more oil and some nail and domes or skillets. It's something else to use a dome/skillet. The first time I saw and used a skillet, was at the hash bar, and it was amazing. Blew me away, totally a game changer for the every day stoner. %)

I'm going to hit some wax in a second, and then I'm probably jump in bed eventually.

Waitin' on these sleeping pills to kick in while I eat my welfare meal of a plate of french fries sans ketchup :(. Eh, least I had some seasoned salt and Cajun seasoning to season these bad boys up a li'l. Once the pills kick in, I'm poppin' 6mg melatonin and gettin' freaky with my dreams tonight. %)

What'chu smokin' on tonight, laC?

[EDIT: Side-note: I'm thinking about getting a decent camera so I can show youse guise the herbal that's been coming through here the past few weeks/months. Flavor of the day's called Hawaiian Haze and this shit's got me so energetic it's redonkulous.]

Ay Captain, out of curiosity, were you one of the few that suggested melatonin to me for when I was trying to ween myself off of the nightly diphenhydramine sleep-aid?

I don't believe so; I have never tried melatonin myself. Did you try it out?

Yeah, man, it works beautifully. I'm just curious how intelligent it would be to use it long-term, though. Unlike the DPH, I feel like a habitual melatonin dosage might cause my body to stop producing the hormone in the long run. I've seen hints of that happening around the web but no solid incidents that I can verify using my ballin' Google skills.

Well I'm glad it works well for you. I have never tried it, guess I should some time, especially if I'm out of temazepam.

Definitely see what a google search yields. What happens if you go one night without the melatonin? Can you get good sleep without it?

I'll get about 3 hours of sleep without melatonin-- without any sleep aid at all I'll sleep for like 10-15min intervals spread over 8 hours. I'm lucky to get a combined 2 hours of sleep without any medicinal help.

I want to just suck it up, quit cold turkey and force myself into regular sleeping habits but my job has me doing heavy lifting from 3am-9:30am every day, so fucking with my sleep is not something I want to chance right now. I need every bit of rest I can get.

Gotcha, well best of luck.

You could always try calling a doctor or pharmacist and inquiring as to the potential of long term side effects for chronic melatonin use. That's probably your best bet in the meantime, while you don't have the luxury of messing around with your sleep schedule.

I have been using melitonin ever since I got my adderall script and needed something to help me sleep at night. I love it and was very impressed with how well it worked for me. I like that It comes in 1mg tablets so on nights i need only a little help sleepiing I take 2mgs, on nights when I am really riled up I will take 3 maybe even 4mgs. It helps me fall asleep without totally zonking me out. It will make me drowsy in the morning if I have to get up and I take it too late.

But i like it way more than unisom or benadryl.

Good idea, thanks.

Yes x100.

I've been seeing advertisements for this new sleep aid called Alteril. It's got L-tryptophan, melatonin and valerian root in it, which sounds to me like a guaranteed way to catch some easy Zs. I'm gonna be on a mission to pick some up this weekend.

PurpleFirefly? I miss her! She used to tinychat with us back in the early TC of the lounge days. Tell her neko say's hi! Man I bet she would flip is she knew I was living with ChemicalSmiles now, haha!

What else is new CDers? I have been super busy with my business and taking on more and more design work. I also havent seen Chainer is quite some time, so forgive me is CD is a bit disorganized right now. This has been such a busy month, and now we are trying to buy a car(CS and I) which we reallyyyyyy need.

I am hoping to spend some time tonight cleaning of threads though, gotta get baked and laid first though. You know how it is...

hey lady!! I still ninja lurk these parts from time to time :) My irl has kept me quite busy so I'm not able to get online as much as back in the day. I like to see how my people are doing though :)

I've seen your posts on Facebook, I'm so happy for you and CS!! You two are adorable together. I also love reading about the progress of your business, it seems to be doing so well! You rock girlie!

So I've been having these weird intermittent chest pains (right side) ever since I got off this morning. Cracked open a beer about an hour ago, downed it, and the intensity and frequency of the pain has increased.

I was thinking it was a stress deal. I'm so anxiety-prone it's ridiculous. Now I'm thinking "WTF HEART ATTACK" even though I know that's not what it is.

Point being, it's kind of funny how a rational mind can turn irrational in an instant. I know, I mean I know it's stress-related but my mind keeps jumping to these extreme conclusions and it's kind of fucking with my head right now. Anyone think that's a symptom of my drug use/abuse, or might that be a characteristic in a person that makes them more susceptible to drug abuse throughout the course of their life? Or maybe it's completely unrelated, fuck if I know. I feel some webMD-hypochondriasis revving up in my head right about now, lol.

What drugs are you using? I don't think it's due to the drugs you're using, I think it's probably connected to anxiety.

I hope you feel better soon man. :)
