I am completely serious. I just learned about jenkem today, and my mind is ... blown. WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF

Look it up if you don't know what it is. I'm too much in shock to really keep typing.

WTF.

But I am curious if anyone can speak firsthand--intelligently--about their experience on it.

It actually isn't. Kids in Africa used it and it's just Methane inhalation or something like that. Erowid has a bunch of information on "inhalants" if anyone is interested

It's theoretically possible someone could use jenkem as an inhalant. The FX would be pretty similar to that of oxygen deprivation from e.g. helium inhalation. The Pickwick-Totse scandal was pretty much confirmed to be fake though.

Don't inhale your shit gas unless you are looking for social stigmatism.
 
I knew one poor fellow who ruined his life/brain/bowel control with years of drug abuse (mainly daily DXM via cough medicine with no consideration of other active ingredients) who once told about it tried it. Myself and my other friend where away at the time and in astonishment over just having heard about it ourselves told this poor fellow. He pissed and shat in a bottle. A couple of days later he sent us a message saying "I forogot. Where you supposed to eat or huff that stuff? Cause I ate it and it tasted like shit." We stared at the phone aghast for several moments and then promptly dropped to the floor and rolled around laughing for half an hour. That poor dude. Poor African street children.

I was friends with a guy who drove one of those trucks to drain septic tanks. He said he had to climb into an empty tank (I don't remember why) and he ended up tripping sack. His other coworkers had to drag him out and he was completely incoherent.
Whenever kids are watching him, he says "stay in school or you'll end up with this shitty job" haha good guy
