Hi guys! SWIM has had MDMA a few times in the past couple of weeks, had tried it previously years ago but only recently a few more times. Experiencing the following symptoms after having some MDMA and a little weed on a come down:

- Body/CNS Zaps
- Occasional Vertigo
- Intense Dreams
- Tinnitus has worsened

Diet has improved with no intake of supplements/other drugs or medications. Only thing that has improved now is less intense dreams and as of today vertigo has lessened quite a lot, still a bit harder to sleep though to due the brain zaps. Diet is quite good, high protein, healthy food etc. Only supplement that was started today was 5-HTP, had run out previously and it arrived today so popped a couple to aid in recovery of serotonin levels from what I've read plus the only other reasons I've read for these kinds of symptoms would be withdrawal from SSRI's and anti-depressants etc however none are consumed.

Is it pretty much a waiting game now for the serotonin levels to reach normal levels again or is it worth visiting the Doc to see what can be done? And could it have been a bad batch or just a higher intake than SWIM should have? Thank you :)

You sure it was MDMA? ;P

Wait for your brain to fix itself... the doctor cant really do anything exept give you drugs

Eat, excersize, sleep, drink water, smoke bud

won't be more than 7 days or 14 days at most and youll be feeling okay

Cheers for the reply :D What do they usually prescribe to increase serotonin (if anything)? Probably took more than necessary one of the nights, more likely MDA but the other was tested and def. MDMA.

I've gone through what you're going through - you've overdone it and you're just going to have to wait it out. It took about a week for my brain zaps and vertigo to disappear. On the plus side, they will go away. I really don't think seeing a doctor is necessary. It might help to limit stimulants like caffeine while you're still not feeling great.

brain zaps happen when you binge mdma, suddenly stopped and your brain lack of needed serotonin. i find getting sleep and diet is the only solution. when i took 5htp, it made the brain zaps worse. after a few weeks, the brain zaps usually goes away on its own.

I had the same problem, diet and exercise is the only thing you can do really, it's also a pretty good idea to get a general vitamin supplement. My brain zaps lasted a few days. Fast forward a few months and I popped some pills again and the brain zaps came back 2-3 hours into the roll, had a serious panic attack and I have extreme anxiety now whenever I take any substance now, although I doubt i'll ever use mdma again. Anyone else used after the brain zaps?

Never treid 5htp and never plan to as I have no faith in the stuff. I work out 4 times a week usually and I find that to be the best recovery anyways

I don't know that dehydration after affects or loss of electrolytes can be ruled out as causing brain zaps. Experienced it after doing way too much mephedrone a few times, and never lasted over a week. Never had brain zaps after an e, but I never stayed up 3 days on an e, either. For the record, I will never touch mehpedrone ever, ever, ever again.

Cheers for the responses! :D Believe it or not weed was the answer, after my last roll I got ahold of some good stuff going around and recovered overnight. What would cause that? With a previous roll I had the brain zaps for up to a week or so but yeah having weed before I sleep and maybe even the next night (a little) I felt 10x better and absolutely no brain zaps or loss of appetite etc.

Only negative is I felt more buzzed from weed, thought it'd make me sleepier. Have tried MJ a few times but
