Never seen Encona Papaya here :(

Like standard Encona though <3

That Nando's one ain't bad either. Although I've only ever seen a Nando's once. And didn't eat in it cos was just smoking a fag between trains. They seem to get mentioned a lot on tellybox so am assuming there's more than one.

Bear: Thanks :)

Got a massive 2kg tin of pizza sauce MamaSham gave me for no obvious reason sat in me cupboard so have been pondering making pizza bases. Although I doubt I could get through 2kg of tomato paste wiv "stuff" no matter how pissed :\

Nandos are all over the place in the UK and even Australia. We don't have them over here as we're fairly conservative when it comes to food, most chains are completely absent from the local market, we don't have Starbucks, Costa nor any other coffee chains, don't have Dominoes or Pizza Hut, no Wendys, Taco Bell, InandOut. Fuck all really, only fast food chains are maccas and Burger King.

mad dog 357 is great, a couple of drops is plenty for most meals needing a chilli kick..

I've had a bottle for 2 years now, encona and the like last a month at best.

Encona has flavour though, Mad Dog just has heat.

I tend to agree, MM. Although I do like sillyhot too sometimes. Have had a few of those sillyhot sauces (the coupla drops = melt ya face off jobbies) and are good for beans. And for background heat in curries. Wouldn't put 'em on a burger or owt though.

Kenny: Where I live is like a kinda capsule version of large parts of Europe. No fast food chains for a good 20-30 miles radius. Although - somewhat inexplicably - empty MuckyD cartons do sometimes appear along the back roads. It's not like said roads even go anywhere so fuck knows who dumps 'em. Tourists I'm assuming. Nobody else would have reason for driving along there really.

for lunch today did some savage wraps, first up par boiled small cubes of potatos then dried them.

next fried chorizo, removed from the pan then fried the potatos in the chorizo oil.

after that fried a mix of red n white onion with celery and garlic, followed that with bacon lardons.

put all the above into a big wrap then covered in cheese and sweet corn plus mayo and chilli sauce.

the wrap then placed in a george forman for a few minutes .

^that looks really tasty and so much nicer than before. Cropping out some of the image will make a massive difference

Add it to pasta - mashed potato - couscous - boiled rice - add garlic to a bowl of it and top with a fried egg?

We were at a mexican place a few years ago in the states and they had a hot sauce bar- ranged from the hot sweet stuff to seriously hot. The hotter end of the scale were crazy and really brought tears to your eyes :D

... top with a fried egg?

Not in this lifetime :|

Is more the timeframe really. Only got one of those lil flap-freezer thingies at the top of me fridge so can't really store owt. Not that it really matters given it's just a tin of tomato paste given to me for nowt really. Is more the principle of not liking to waste stuff if anything.

I had a quorn turkey and stuffing sandwich with jarlsberg cheese and salad and sandwich spread. It was good! I wash it down with white wine.

twiglets with melted cheese and loads of cayenne, cumin and hot sauce to hide the eh, "marmite" taste.
don't blame me, i didn't pay for them.
Plus they're salty and crunchy, what more could you want really (apart from no marmite flavour)

You're a legend Bearlove, much love<3

How the hell did you do your artichoke hearts? I bought a shit load of them a while back - took me ages to clean them. Then after baking them I had about three nibbles worth of food. Not something I would rush back out and buy again :D

That sounds pretty awful tbh :D - not sure why but your post has me wanting chocolate covered salty pretzels :D.
