I might check out that documentary if you're all saying it's good. I tend to stay away from drug documentaries in general since they're usually just gross exaggerations and always have to fit in 'your first marijuana joint will get you on the streets injecting heroin' somewhere, but...

And okay Shambles, I'll try to imagine I've only ever used smack that was carried about in peachy bottoms such as yours then ;) =D

But that VICE one in Wales, that lass who was made to have a threesome with her mum and boyfriend, and then got 'put' on smack and whored out by her mum. Yeah that wasnt the nicest story to hear.

Ah you's saying there's Black Tar Heroin (Acetylated Opium isn't it?) kicking about in England?

If the answer's yes, is it going for the same price as Afghani' Brown #3 or is it more expensive?

Is Black Tar counted as Heroin #3 or #4?
 
I've had several dreams where I wander into an off license and get handed brown by the guy behind the till this week, think its because I struggle finding street drugs and or its because the oxys I've got at the moment are only working painwise whilst giving me zero buzz for it. I wouldn't mind not getting a buzz if these had been prescribed to me. Turns out dependency clinics don't really work with anyone who self medicates with narcotics due to a medical condition. So yet again I am stuck in limbo for another few months waiting for CBT, joy.
 
you cant really compare tar to CW - because of the way tar is made i.e using acetic acid its not really heroin and the high is very different because of the high concentration of 6mam and 3mam. Both are good if of similar quality. BUt your use to tar and now in a place where you can 'only' get 80% CW (YOu poor little man) so its that old....'the grass is always greener...'
I think most people can now get good quality gear now its just double bubble, just picked up .6 for 50 but its proper nice just the same as its been for months pale beige powder, easter week he's getting something special Im getting a Q of the best - not stamped on at all unless it was before it went on the boat but its 440 - i remember when you could get an oz for 600/650. But it seems from reports here that there is more good quality about which can mean only one thing .....a price drop, if things stay the same i.e more good stuff coming in i think the price will be back to 50-60 a g by the summer for quality and weight back to a more suitable level maybe 150 for a hen, Thats assuming tar doesnt get here which i cant believe it hasnt given the coke connections ah well we shall see.

Incorrect. I can get good gear as posted before for just over around £40 a gram in nottingham. Good gear which I'd guarantee to be at least in the 40's percentage wise.

Last time I was Westcountry way, within the last month, I could get pretty decent gear for standard prices .2 for £10 cheaper on weight. This was the hard chunky brown with tiny black specs. The kind that no one woulda turned their nose up at b4 the drought. I also have an esteemed mate in the same kind of area who has been able to get good gear at normal prices for ages.

Consistency's been the problem for me, every so often there's stuff that's not fantastic, and sometimes theres stuff thats exceptional eg at Xmas I'd reported getting stuff that was at least 60% being a conservative estimate, I reckon it was virtually uncut. Wasnt around long hence my point about consistency. But on the whole its improving steadily.

Still, guess its who you know and who they know. I personally think things will be getting back to normal for everyone before too long. I also think a lot of the bashing / cutting was being done by people higher up, including before it even hit our border, and now (IMO) things are beginning to get back to normal and supply is increasing, there isnt the need for them to cut as much. They must know how many users they've lost, and that they wont get them back unless the product improves dramatically.

I'll tell you something even funnier; I got offered a henry for £80 in notts couple days ago! Was even told i could sample it for free prior to buying! Even tho I know its practically a nailed-on certainty that it's crap, part of me wants to check it out just out of curiosity! I dont reckon its a trap tho the thought would cross my mind were i to do it, which I aint

40 a g of good quality? all gear use to be 40-45% with the odd higher or lower %. i dunno i only trust the opinion of 1-2 peeps on here and if it was that sort of price then notts would be full of folk getting weight. There is alot of gear going round stepped on with barbs and benzos which knock you out but not the same as a proper h gouch - ive had it just made me sleep for 2 hours.Personally i wouldnt touch stuff with black dots in it as it can only be a cut of some sort - fuck knows what. Ive been lucky and had the same pakistani gear for 18months now but i know people who buy in hackney from a fella making a grand a day and its shit but they are use to it its cheap .6 for 20 so put it all in the spoon or on the foil and you get a a buzz but its 10% max- same in most of london unless u have the contacts - like most places i guess..... BUT things are gonna change just need a few tonnes to come in rather than the K's at the moment
 
@ Blondin The stuff with black specs in was good, defo no benzo cut or anything dodge. I dont think it'd even been cut in htis country, just my educated opinion of course. And I've never had gear thats been cut with benzo's. It looked almost identical to this, which was straight from the 'lab' in Afghanistan, and likely VERY strong:

As I mentioned in my post at the time, it wasn't actually as great as it looked IMO, but was what I'd reckon to be average pre-drought kit, ie about 40%. It smelt v strong, was v fishy and did the job, and most people were goin nuts for it.

The stuff Im on about in Notts that Im getting ATM...yes I know most gear was in the 40's %, it aint any more. I said at least in the 40's if I had to guess prob 45-50. Thats good gear. Like I said not spectacular, but for 40 a g its very good for the modern day.

Wouldnt expect you to trust my opinion, in the same way I dont trust yours; you've never met me. But there are folks on BL and in this very forum who know that can vouch for my opinion. At one time a few years back I was scoring and smoking gear that was in the 60's %, so I have that as a marker in my head to callibrate and judge the quality / % of gear. And I could link the article on the web that proves this when the fella in question got busted red handed with the very kit I'd been scoring. Again another on here can vouch.

All I was getting at is that u were wrong in ur post to say 'same as everywhere 80 - 100 a g' for good gear.
Even if what ur getting is 60%, which I doubt, its a rip off at £10 a point. Not saying I wouldnt pay it if it was a choice between that or shit (like a lot of stuff on the streets testing at 12%-ish) cos I would. That doesn't stop it being a rip off though

Comparatively unrefined. Doens't it still contain quite a bit of plant matter? Obviously my only real info on the stuff comes from speaking to US users and there aren't many who don't bemoan the fact that it seems to cause far more physical problems than whatever powder equivalent they get locally. Know of very few who choose tar when they have other options.

Unlike me though, you know from experience which is why my interest has now been piqued. Between you and Jspun you have opened my mind to the possibility that not all tar is made the same (figuratively speaking). The lack of refinement is perhaps both plus and minus. I hadn't really considered this idea. But after reading of folk waying that diamorphine amps are actually a bit shit recreationally - and with you rating good tar as better than high-purity powder - I am now officially intrigued. I <3's me opium and tar seems more along those lines. Still not sure how good an idea it is to be injecting something so unrefined but - as noted - it's all relative really.
