Stimulants 2-fma... lost the "magic".

So I recently acquired some 2-fma, and the first few times I experimented with it I had an AWESOME experience. Super clear headed stimulation, very significant mood boost and increased sociability, as well as a dramatic decrease in anxiety. ~60mg seemed to do it for me. I only took it once/twice a week. I had very little amphetamine experience before this (and still do).
Now about 3 weeks in and unfortunately, the positive effects seem to have diminished almost completely, and its lost its enjoyability (in fact if anything it makes me a bit irritable). Definitely provides stimulation, but the increased sociability and dramatic mood boost have diminished to almost nothing. Though I take magnesium, I thought perhaps I was developing a tolerance, so I tried an increased dosage of 100mg oral today (which is a pretty hefty dose), and while it provided stimulation for sure, the dramatic mood boost and sociability were still absent.

For the record, I take 75mg/day of Effexor (Venlafaxine) which is an SSRI... not sure if that would have any effect.

Any ideas as to why the "magic" has gone from 2-fma? Like I said, I've only taken it ~4 times since I've acquired it over 3-4 weeks, so I have a hard time believing its a tolerance issue...
Any recommendations as far as getting that mood boost/sociability back?

Any input is appreciated,
Thanks.

Take it for what its worth but, I noticed that used adderall a few times in high school and got the insane talkative productive mindset for about the first few times i took it, and haven't really ever gotten that back from any stimulant again unless it's a strong entactogen, even after taking 6+ month breaks. Whether its amps, coke, 2fma, 4fma, 4fa, pentedrone, a-pvp or whatever, i just get slight euphoria and major stimulation.

Recent discoveries have given me a possible cure. Recently i was on 4fma sitting on the couch and realized that all i was doing was fixating on my BP and HR which is what i often do on stims yet i still take them. So i went out for a bike ride, about a mile ride and didnt push myself too hard but did get a work out and when i got back i was out of breath but my muscles were all totally loose and after i calmed down a little i felt a high that was similar to rolling on mdma, so i think it's general health that dictates the effects more than anything with stims.

Maybe doing a run or bike ride or something before taking them, or taking them halfway through the exercise is a way to get max euphoria because there was a HUGE difference. I had been taking that stuff everyday and thought, wow i only get shitty peripheral stimulation from this now, but really my body just needed some exercise and i felt amazing.

Hmm, thanks for the reply.
Any other opinions/ideas?

I just don't understand how I could have such an undeniable, great mood boost (not euphoric, just happy) the first 2 or 3 times, only to have it completely absent when I took it a week later. It's the same batch, and I've only taken 2-fma ~ 5 times over the course of 3 weeks (only on weekends so with 5 day breaks between usage), so I don't see how it could be a tolerance issue.

If I can't figure it out I'll be really bummed, as this was seriously the perfect RC for me.

Yup its great but you gotta tone down the use ALOT to keep the magic. I did several ozs over a few months and it was not good, I noticed some very serious cardiovascular side effects. During one of my last benders before quitting I took a hot knife hit and I blacked out and fell on the hotknives. However it was not near as bad as 4fma as it had worse side effects from doing a couple g over 2 days. I hope one day to be able to afford to say where meth is on this scale.

I'm not familiar with 4-FMA, and only have limited experience with 4-FA (which was less of a stimulant in regards to effects than say straight up Dextroamphetamine or meth), but if its like the latter, the best way (with both methamphetamine-though its more difficult IMO, and Dextroamphetamine-Dexadrine/Adderall) to keep that magic alive is to really take it as rarely as possible and to keep your dosages low. For instance, I haven't used amps in about four months, but I just plugged 20mg of Adderall five minutes ago. This should have me feeling pretty damn nice for the next few hours. I plan to probably dose again Tomorow, but I'm going to keep dosing at dosages of 20mg until it loses all therapeutic effect, at which point I will take a break, or raise my dose to 30, and if that starts to fail me, than its definitely time to take a break.

IMO, Amos work best at Lowish dosages no matter what. Sure once I develop a tolerance to 30mg I could take another 15 or 30mg and I would probably get those Desired effects back. But it seems that at some point, no matter how much amphetamine you take, you just cannot recapture those desirable effects and instead are stuck with stimulation and unwanted side effects. It's likely that 4-FMA works the same way. Take a break, and then keep your dosages low-and this is coming from someone who has suffered some serious problems with stimulants in the past...I've just managed to learn that redosing and taking heroic amounts of amphetamine often makes me more uncomfortable than euphoric.

Cool, thanks for the advice.
Like I said, I haven't taken it very much at all, only one or two days on the weekends to give me a boost at work (I'm a server at a restaurant) over the course of ~3 weeks, so only like 6 times total. No intention of taking it more than that, or even using it to get euphoric, but I just loved the mood boost and sociability increase it gave me the first few times (wouldn't call it "euphoria" though, more mild than that).
It's possible I was taking too large of doses, but the first time I took it I did 60mg (per someone on here's recommendation) and the effects were awesome.

I'm gonna take a break for a while and take low doses of DXM to hopefully lower any tolerance I may have accumulated, then use smaller doses of 2-fma.

I have some 4-fa, and it sounds like something I'd really like, but I'm on Venlafaxine. Even though I take the lowest effective dose I think it would probably prevent me from enjoying 4-fa :(

Some people find that the euphoria/"good feelings" of amphetamines don't last very long at all. Different people react different.

Amphetamines are not a guaranteed ticket to euphoria for everyone.

It seems to me that athletic types of people generally seem to get very high levels of long lasting euphoria from stimulants, whereas more unhealthy folks seem to get more side effects sometimes to the point of dysphoria. I'm not saying it's true but I have noticed this throughout my experiences.

Maybe the fact that certain people like stimulants and exercising alike is a personality thing, but I find when I'm in better shape i get a much better feeling from stimulants, although I have to force myself to exercise..

I've experienced the same thing with 2-FMA, though I take much smaller doses for consecutive days rather than 2x weekly. It starts to set off moodiness after a week or so of continuous use for me, but those first few days are golden.

I find that alternating between low doses of 2-FMA and low doses of 4-FA throughout the week helps reduce tolerance to both. (I know taking RC's daily is not the healthiest, but we're talking tiny doses of under 20 mg per day). The best schedule has been 5 days on 2-FMA and switching to 4-FA on the weekends. Though the current 2-FMA seems to be causing too many weird side effects for me to use daily.

@doppelganger: 2-FMA and 2-FA are almost indistinguishable. 2-FMA seems slightly more potent and fiendish, but not by much.

I've taken 2-FMA a few times and was wondering about the safety. Can you elaborate on the weird side effects you were experiencing with daily use?

My symptoms appear to be caused by a problem with my reproductive organs, not 2-FMA. Still taking it 5 days a week and the weird symptoms have subsided. Side effects I get from 2-FMA include dehydration, jaw grinding and muscle tension. It's proven relatively benign for as often as I use it. My daily dose does not exceed 25 mg.
