First time opiates - NEED HELP

Hey guys, so a mate of mine gave me 2x20MG pills, they have a big 20 written on them and ive been told they are oxycotin or some shit. Theyre basically a light purple color and the guy told me to check up dosage on the net.
As the title says ive never done any opiate in my life

I want to know, what is a good first timers dose?
I dont want to be pukeing or overdosing lol

I want to try a tiny tiny amount just to be safe and get used to the feeling. I dont want to be nodding, just maybe a slight euphoric feeling. I dont even want to look like ive taken any drugs at all.

Please consider what ive said and help! thanks :) as i said i have 40mg in total to play with so i dont want to rush the first time.
 
Lucky you, anyways i don't think we can identify pills for you on here, but i would search them on google. Just type what the pill looks like and if it says anything on the front or back of them. If they really are 20mg oxycotin, that is a good first time dose BECAUSE they are not instant release. The one and only time i had oxycotin prescribed i had 20mg and i didn't feel the desired effects from one, so i snorted another one (which breaks the time release) and was throwing up for a long time. So just look up what they are to make sure, and if they are 20mg oxycotin i believe you are safe, just don't snort it or crush it because it would be too strong, or atleast in terms of vomitting
 
Find out what they are for sure before taking them! We don't do drug identification here but you can go to this site and put in the pill imprint (any letters or numbers), color and shape: http://www.drugs.com/imprints.php

If that doesn't help you can also do a Google image search for "oxycodone 20mg" and see if your pill shows up.

Then, if they are oxycodone, you need to find out for sure if they really are Oxycontin, which is a slow-release (extended-release) form of the drug oxycodone, or if they are regular release oxycodone. Some people just use the term "Oxycontin" to mean any oxycodone, which is not actually correct.

If you want to start with a low dose that doesn't make you puke or nod and you have no experience with opioids, it is important to remember everyone is different. so just because someone else says they took a certain dose doesn't mean you would get the same effects from that dose. I normally suggest 10mg oxycodone for someone with no experience with opioids who is going to try it for the very first time.
 
If it is oxycontin, it's likely an Oxy OP and not OC, so crushing it won't be all that great regardless of what anyone tells you. In the off-chance it is an OC, you might want to take it a little at a time to ensure that you don't over-do it.
 
So that is timed-release Oxycontin (all actual Oxycontin being timed-release of course). It's unclear how much cutting the pill in half or quarters would effect the time-release. 5mg or 10mg should still be perfectly safe to take even if cutting it defeated the time-release completely, but 10mg could potentially get you pretty high if cutting the pill did defeat the time-release - it really varies depending on the person. I'm sorry I don't really know how much cutting these pills affects the time-release, maybe someone else will see this who knows.
 
If it says "OC" you are pretty lucky cos it's nearly impossible if not completely to get those these days. The new oxycontin pills are "OP". They were made to reduce abuse from breaking, chewing, sniffing, etc. I chewed an Oxy OP 30 a couple of weeks ago and it didn't do much. With that said, I regularly use Oxy IRs.

If it's an OC consider yourself lucky. And like the mod stated, don't over-do it.

I want to take half of a reccomended starter dose! And then redose if i want, JUST to be safe.

So thats the pill, what do i do?

Crush the pill into a fine a powder/dust as possible and then either half it and swallow down with a soft drink or take the lot. Bear in mind 10mg may to the trick, 20mg may make you nauseas. For me 20mg was perfect starting dose, I was nodding my head off!
 
you need to take the coating off. id just run it under some water and use a rag or your shirt to wipe it off itll come off pretty easily. once youre left with just a white pill you can crush it and its basically instant release
 
^ yup. suck the coating off (think getting the candy coating off of an m&m), dry it off, cut in half and down the hatch. opiates usually take their full effect upon my body at around the hour and half 2 hour mark. if you feel like you can handle more, treat yoself. just don't drink any alcohol or take any other pills. 20 mgs is more than enough oxycodone to put a man of any size or shape on the moon his first go around.

Taking the coating off and just cutting it in half wont defeat the time-release as well as crushing/chopping the pill into dust and then consuming. The green coating is not what makes the pill 'time-release'.

If you grind/crush/chop the pill up well enough leaving the Green coating on or taking it off really makes little-no difference.
 
Pill ID'd, starting dosage of 5-10mg given.
