Are they stronger then the average benzos? Need some info on these please, severe OCD/phobia and anxiety sufferer here, cheers everyone!<3<3<3

I've never tried midazolam, taken bromazepam a number of times though...I found it to be one of the most mood-enhancing ones, less muscle relaxation than others such as tetrazepam, temazepam etc. If I were to compare it to another I'd say it's very much like alprazolam.

midazolam is strong shit. Be careful. I got arrested last time i binged on this shit. A vial is sometimes enough to knock out a patient. If you have a tolerance you might go through 5 vials - thats IV though. I have never had the pills.....

If your tolerant the Midazolam, is basically a pre-op drug, it' causes allot of memory loss.@ can make you do as Aussie101 said "crazy" things, in pill form I = 7.5 of midazolam to 5mgs of valium, but much more memory loss. Bromazepam is very nice the Lexotanil brand is best but pricey. 6mgs of Bromazepam is roughly 1-2 mgs of Xanax, I think as well. Hope this helps.

Bromazepam is quite a bit weaker than Alprazolam. I think it's around 0.5mg Alprazolam = 6mg Bromazepam.

The differences between Benzos is not that great (IME) Although Midazolam is specifically used for the Amnesia it causes (I once had it IV'd when I had an Endoscopy) and I couldn't remember a thing!

If you have a choice and your determined to use Benzos i'd say try Diazepam as it's a good 'all-rounder'

If your wanting something just for anxiety etc and plan on using it through the day then bromazepam is the best and most sensible option. If were talking anout night-times, layed in front of the t.v in bed the midazolam is the one to go for as it a great sleep inducer but with a half-life of about 1.5 hrs its out your system by morning so no hangover. Its also fabulous for coming down off stimulants. I think midazolam gives the best euphoria aswell, like warm waves washing over you...only problem is you wont remember this the next day.lol its also serious blackout territory aswell so lock away the car keys and the rest of the meds make sure your settled down for the night. I think you can probably tell which one is my fav by now lol but with benzos everyone is different so ymmv. To sum up bromazepam for daytime use and actual mental health treatment. Midazolam for kicks and insomnia (the kind were you cant get to sleep, z-drugs are better for nocturnal waking).

Midazolam is VERY sedating and will cause a lot of amnesia. As mentioned it is normally used to knock people out (before administering general anesthesia) for surgery. That is the only circumstances I have taken it under. I haven't taken bromezepam but it has similar properties, perhaps to a lesser degree though. But people who take it for anxiety have been found to have substantially impaired learning and memory. It is sometimes used for panic attacks though.

I would not recommend either of these drugs for frequent use for anxiety.

I've never tried midazolam. Bromazepam however I find extremely weak, more so than alprazolam, diazepam, and lorazepam. It's decent as an axiolytic but it's established in one study that it's practically impotent as a sedative.

Great info there, thanks so much, think ill just stick to what i take, thank you so much everyone, if i posted this on <snip> i'd get abuse left right an centre, love this site xxx

Bromazepam gave me a strong depression within one week. To each their own, though, especially with benzodiazepines, that make people react so differently for each different benzo.

<snip> is full of some awful people. Not really any good for finding out info. Although there are a couple of decent people on there.

That's true! So, how long on average does a dose of bromazepam last? I really need to cut back my tolerance, midazolam is out of the question after reading about it's sedative properties. Or what the hell can I take to get out of this benzo hell?

When i was in egypt over the summer i was prescribed six different medications for a month, bromazepam was one of them but i never really felt it, i believe it is a bit more mild

If your on a benzo and are slowly trying to get off of it, switch to valium or clonazepam and do a very small taper as most would say
