New dangers of order RCs online

I don't know if most buy their research chemicals on the street or straight from web vendors, but a vendor or someone associated with one recently committed major identity theft against me. They took out a huge loan in my name that I just found out about. I haven't even bought any of this stuff in years :/ Just thought everyone should be aware of this because I don't think I've seen this type of warning as far as the RC world goes. Only heard of bunk and/or mislabeled material and no-sends. Guess there really are more and more scumbags getting involved in the RC scene by the day. Beware.

How did this person get your social and what not? Didn't you just use Paypal or something similar? Not sure how anyone could steal your identity from a Paypal transaction.

More details would be great.

What? RCs are drugs, the vendors are not your friend. It's your fault your vendor somehow stole your identity - next time realize they don't need your SSN to verify your address.

did you sign a calling-in so they can withdray what they want? or foes a friend or family member have access?
other than that or they have a keylogger on your system and use your onlinebanking i dont know how that should work


one reason i use bitcoins for most of things. not linking your name to a payment gets more and more vital. especially when i read this.

It's insanely easy. You don't even need all that, all you need is their current address (whitepages) and ssn to do damage.. They could easily talk their way into recovering your bank account with a SSN.
