how long does it take for xannax to kick in?

so me and my boyfriend were working on this foreclosed house and we were helping clean it out and i found a bag with 13 yellow long pills (school bus's) as my boyfriend calls its so i want to take them but how long does it take for it start kicking in and should i take two or one? thanks

not long. About half an hour to an hour. Put them under your tongue

It usually takes about 20 minutes for them to kick in if I've taken them orally, and less (maybe 10 minutes) if I put them under my tongue. They reach their maximum effects in about an hour.

Spot on for the timings. I feel the exact same way.

Yeah about 20 minutes in my experience. Putting them under your tongue is quite disgusting, but it does seem to make the effect stronger!

Take half of one to begin with (1mg?) and if an hour later you want more, take the other half but do not continue dosing after this point to avoid blacking out.
